Well made. Looks nice. For our purpose we needed a smaller sized pitcher.

This pitcher is smaller than my original one, which broke while I was washing it. I had it for years. I ordered this new one because the pattern is the same as my glassware. The pitcher arrived quickly and safely, although not very sturdily packed. This new version is considerably smaller and lighter than the original. It had a tiny label on it saying that it is not leaded crystal. It does not have a pointed handle as the photo shows, but a curved handle. While I like it and it does look like my crystal glassware, it's not the same. It is somewhat misrepresented in the Amazon description and picture. The picture's handle and it's dimensions look like the original, not the one being sold now. It is not the same quality as leaded crystal, making the $35 price a bit steep. It's OK, but buyer beware of what you are actually getting.

I purchased this for the holidays so we could keep water glasses refilled without leaving the table. I definitely prefer glass (as opposed to plastic) and this worked very well.

When we moved into our new house in 2006, we replaced our motley collection of wine glasses and brandy snifters with new sets from the Cristal D'Arques collection. They proved to be extremely durable and lovely to look at. Last week this pitcher was featured for $9.99 at the Friday sale and I snapped it up. I had the same concerns as another reviewer -- it didn't seem to be appropriately packaged given that it was crystal (no bubble wrap, just a box within a box) but it came through unscathed. I had the same experience when I ordered the wine glasses and brandy snifters -- the packing was not terrific, but they came through okay. The set is a good value for the money -- you won't be disappointed.

I like it except for the reason given above.

Beautiful pitcher. Only thing is it is smaller than I thought it would be. I thought it would be a full size pitcher for tea. I guess we can use it for mimosas or juice. Or a water pitcher.
