This ginger tea smells and tastes great. It comes well sealed in a sort of tube thingy like the kind tennis balls are packaged in. In the pyramid tea bags, you can clearly see, the tiny julienned ginger pieces, and when this is brewed, it makes a great cup of tea. I sometimes combine this with other teas to give them extra ginger kick.

I got this because I wanted natural ginger root with no added ingredients. I assumed the flavor would be strong but it's very weak. Even when I brew two bags at a time! I wish I could return it.

This ginger tea is made of dried pieces of ginger, in tea bags. When I opened the pop-top container, I could immediately smell the strong essence of ginger. I steeped a tea bag in hot water for about four minutes, and it made a well flavored cup of ginger tea. It is almost as good as the tea I have made with fresh ginger. What I like most about these is their ability to be used in soups - I added a tea bag to the broth for a homemade ramen, and it really enhanced the flavor. The ginger absorbs the liquid and swells and softens, but I would not advise opening the tea bags and adding the ginger straight to the broth, as I tried it afterward and it was pretty tough. But after all, that’s not what they’re made for, and you get a good flavor from just using the tea bag and removing it. I will be using these for both tea and cooking. It may become a new staple in my house.
