I recently bought a new turntable and needed a phono preamp. I bought the Pyle p9999 or whatever and lets just say I was not impressed with the static, distortion and muffled sound. I decided to buy this and it worked like a charm instantly. Easy to setup, good build quality, and not too big. Great item at a great price point.

I am an electrical engineer. I wanted a preamp that had more gain than the simple In/Out amp I already have. This Manayo preamp did not provide as much gain. Both of the controls will increase the output level and even with both at max, it was still less than the old simple preamp I have. I didn't open the amp, but just looking at it from the outside, it is very well made.

No, definitely not Hi-Fi, in the sound quality sense, but this little amp does a great job for our needs. And yes, it gets loud if you want it to! Great value!

I’ve had this for only a year and it’s lost all functionality. Save your money and buy a decent preamp.

This works very well, sound is clean and easy to set up. BUT the included instructions say that when you plug headphones into the front, the rear output disconnects. This is not true! I had noise canceling headphones on and did not realize music was coming out of the desktop speakers till someone told me to turn my music down. So you either have to turn off your speakers or disconnect it from the back which is fairly annoying. It also does not include RCA cables, so make sure you have some handy when ordering this.

Didn't even have to ground it 😁. My reel to reel had its internal preamp die on the right channel (eBay purchase) after some tinkering and not finding the issue to be an easy fix I just turned it all the way down and went for an external preamp. The first one wasn't adjustable and over blew the signal, the second was just a stereo I was using and the "hiss" was unbearable at listening volume. This thing, I plugged it in set my gain and volume, and it's so clear it sounds like I'm inside the tape. Excellent purchase.

The media could not be loaded. I needed to digitize some vinyl records to mp3's and the level directly from my turntable was not adequate, so I ordered this Manayo preamp. And I am glad I did!Noise is a big deal to me and the specs said it was quiet. In the real world, hooked up to my turntable, with a ground wire, then using an obnoxious length out output phono cable, (I think they are 20-foot cables!!) I am getting really quiet results! 💕I was able to find a good blend of 'gain' and 'level' to make my digitizer happy and the finished mp3's are perfect!I highly recommend this Manayo Preamp, it rocks!
