Comfy-soft and light weight - consistent fit and construction
I look forward to wearing these at the end of the day. The fabric is sooooo soft! I can count on Hanes for a consistent fit and construction - I know exactly what I'm getting. Leg openings are a good size - ample enough for movement but not so wide they create embarrassing moments. They don't twist up during sleep. The elastic is soft and wears well with washing. When a pair does wear out, the fabric gets recycled into quilt squares (so decadent!) and the worn swatches are the perfect rags for delicate jobs like polishing jewelry.

Athletes beware
They are warm, soft, and could be comfortable, but there's a problem for me. I have kind of large, muscular legs. I got the large ones because that's the right waist size (I wear 32-33 depending). Problem is, they are a bit too snug in the legs for me. I normally wear Hanes knit boxers. They too are a bit snug in the legs, but they stretch out because of the tee shirt material. These flannel ones have zero stretch.Bottom line, I'm guessing these would be fine for most guys. Those of us whose legs are slightly bigger than "normal" guys...not so much.

shrink a lot over time
Fairly poorly made. After about 6 washes, these have shrunk a lot (more than other brands) and now I don't really like wearing them. I might try another pair in a size larger.-Con--has a rubbery tag in the back that sticks to you after a while. I tore mine off.-the button in the front doesn't lay down well anymore - hangs open (annoying). My other brands don't do that.

Using as sleep shorts
I couldn't find any soft, comfortable shorts to wear for summer sleeping. These totally fit the bill. Just LOVE them. Waistband doesn't strangle you and the flannel is soft and gets even better after washing. Too bad I can't live in these all the time! LOL

Very happy with purchase
I'm a 5'2", 100 lb., 26" waist, 34" hip women. I like to wear plaid flannel boxers around the house as shorts. I have a plaid flannel (women's small) robe that goes well with them too. What can I say--I like plaid flannel.

Exactly what cotton boxers are supposed to be
The flannel is soft, the waistband comfortable, and the fit is good. Exactly what I was looking for. Wish they had more color options.

Good Flannel Boxer Shorts.
Not a real good deal pricewise, but it is a very good product, fairly heavy weight material. I am happy with the purchase.
