JOROTOXR5 Exercise Bike,Assault Bike,Stationary Upright Indoor Cycling Bike with Dual Acction Handlebars,Recumbent Cross Trainer and Elliptical Exercise Machine Support Bluetooth & Heart Rate

This is my first time owning a bike that provides a full body workout as well as cardio. It was so easy to put together. My only problem was a lack of instructions about using the lubrication and water tablets. However, the customer service was quick to answer my questions. Apparently one tablet is sufficient for every 2-3 months. Lubrication can be inutially applied at the joints during assembly but you can apply them later if you feel like the joints are getting stuck. It's also very comfortable to sit on.

TL;DR- Everything I typed below is a potential issue/annoyance, but those are more minor inconveniences because this bike is AWESOME. Hence the 5 stars. Nothing feels cheap or easily breakable. Once you put the water in there is an instant change. AND you do not have to use the app if you don't want to. We are choosing to use it because some of the features are cool. Once we got it out of the VERY secure packaging, it wasn't complicated to put together and 2 of us did it in like 20 minutes. Zero leaking so far.CONS: (These are minor cons not deal breakers)-The second image on this seller's page is a little deceiving. This is a bike with handles that move like an elliptical. Not a bike that can transform into 2 other things by moving some piece of the machine.-Next thing: The name of this bike is a "Water Excercise Bike" but there is nothing in the images on the entire page that would suggest you need to literally add water to it. So make sure you read the "About This Item Section" if you're the type of person who only glances over long descriptions and then only looks at the images more seriously. You've been warned.-The manual leaves something to be desired but has like 10 other languages including English. The manual neglects to tell you the following (and I'm sure I've missed some things):*What area of the bike the extra little container of grease is for or why it's even there. (It's for the ball bearings on the arms of the bike)*What the tablets are, because the bottle they come in does not tell you and neither does the manual. (Still don't know)*How many tablets you're supposed to use with how much water. (we used one)*What the tablets do for the water. (Still don't know)*If the water needs to be distilled or if plain tap water is fine. (We used a gallon of distilled water)*How often the water should be changed. (We'll change it eventually)*How often a tablet should be added again to the water if it's supposed to be added again. (Still don't know)*Barely anything about this Kinomap app. (Took forever to find what the app even was. It's Called kinomap and the icon looks like a K)*That some of the app's features are subscription-based. (You only find this out when you get the email after you've logged into the app and you get a 14-day free trial.)-The seat has a tendency to turn but you can't tighten the adjustment knob too much or you won't be able to loosen it again to move the seat forward and back. I'm the shortest in the house at 5'4" and everyone else is 5'9 or taller. So when I use the bike I have to adjust everything which is why you can't tighten the seat as much as you need to.-The little lip that can hold your phone or device is not really safe for your device if you start peddling too fast. There needs to be something on each end of it to stop it from shaking out and falling on the floor. That's not to say the bike isn't sturdy though.-The water sloshing around isn't loud necessarily but it is definitely noticeable.

This is a good exercise bike. It’s the first exercise equipment that I’ve tried that uses water resistance. I was definitely surprised by the full body workout it gave me.It’s a solid piece of equipment and feels well made. There is a bit of assembly required. It takes a bit of time but is not overly difficult to assemble.

Overall we are pleased with this stationary bicycle. It has a very solid frame and all the materials appear to be heavy duty, quality, metal that will last for a very long time. This is not flimsy or loaded up with cheap plastic parts.It did take my husband and I about an hour to put this together, and we are both tall/strong people with a workshop full of tools. I dare say that it would take much longer if you were using a basic tool set and/or are working alone to assemble this. It really is a two person job.I am pleased with how the finished product manages to be so very sturdy, easy to move, and how little space the machine takes up. This is not hogging unnecessary space at all. The wheels on the bottom would make it in entirely plausible that you could keep this in an empty closet and wheel it out only when you want to use it.Recommended!

Usually, when I use a stationary bike, I just put my mountain bike on trainer (it pinches the rim for resistance), but I was very curious about this water bike. And for good reason.Much like my Concept 2 rower, which uses air resistance, the harder you crank on it, the harder the resistance. So, it didn't take me too long to get used to the bike and I really like it. It's excellent for HIIT training.The build quality on the bike is quite good. It's strong enough to hold up for years. Everything moves smoothly. Sizing adjustment is easy and adequate (I'm 6' 2"). There are a fair number of parts, it takes a little while to put together, but is easy to do.And the footprint is surprisingly small.5 stars. Definitely a good piece of workout equipment.

This bike is sturdy and useful, offering a different kind of workout from other stationary bikes that we've used. The ability to incorporate upper body exercise is a great bonus, and the resistance provided by the water resistance system is a unique challenge. We've used this bike with different sized adults, and it seems to be sturdy enough to stand up to really hard pedaling. The ability to connect to apps via Bluetooth is another great feature.Overall, this bike is great. I personally prefer this water resistance, and I would rather use this kind of bike than a standard stationary bike. We'll see if it holds up over time. If there are any issues I might edit my review in the future to report the problems, but so far so good!

I like the versatility of this bike. It’s a great addition to my workout program. This bike is easy to assemble and maneuver around. I don’t think it takes up a tremendous amount of space. It seems to be sturdy and made very good. It’s great for resistance exercises.

Really happy I got this, I've used the traditional air assault bikes in gyms, this hasn't got as much resistance, but more than enough for a quality workout, 20 min at a good pace and I'm sweating and enough resistance for sprints. I like the water as it's quieter than the fan. It was easy to assemble and I think it should last as it all the components felt sturdy.

I recently bought the Joroto XR5 exercise bike and I have to say it's an excellent piece of equipment. What impressed me first was how easy it was to assemble. I was able to do it by myself in no time.Adding water to the maximum mark of 6 for the best resistance was also very straightforward using the supplied funnel and a container. The syphoning bucket idea could be eliminated, and just the funnel would suffice.The adjustable seat is an excellent addition, making it suitable for all sizes, and the smoothness of the operation is very welcome.The solid construction during assembly gave me the impression that the bike would last along time. The handles have enough padding to be comfortable, but I wear fingerless exercise gloves anyway.Another great feature of the bike , "unlike other reviews" is you can be used as 2 separate exercise machines or 1 combined, simply just peddle with your hands resting on the bars or push/pull the handles and just rest your feet, both combined give a extra workout.It can be easily stored away when not in use. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase and would highly recommend the Joroto MR exercise bike to anyone looking for a high-quality, durable and easy-to-use combo bike. Also unlike other reviews the amount of water and use of tablet "is" included in the instructions and the grease that is supplied was "easy" to figure out what parts should be lubricated.The best thing I found personally was the ease of setting up the bike with Kinomap , it works seamlessly with both my bike and rower. What an awesome idea this was. I have set up my 58-inch TV now and it is a awesome idea. I do a 2 km warmup on the bike , 7.5km row , then 2.5 km cooldown it is a excellent workout for me at 56 yrs old.If you are considering an upgrade or need exercise equipment , I highly recommend the Joroto MR26 rower and the Joroto XR5 exercise bikeFinally, I would like to express my gratitude towards Sports, Fitness & Outdoors.
