It's a simple little molle pouch I use to hold a flashlight, not a baton. It's well-made and works well for my needs. Stiching is adequate but this thing isn't going to be subjected to torture anyway so not a big deal. Good product overall, very versatile

this baton holster is a great replacement. it's much more durable than the original holster that came with my baton

Like a lot of MOLLE based attachments, it carries some extra weight as part of creating the flexibility of the MOLLE system, as it weighs in at 86 grams. Overall dimensions are 9-1/2 inches long by 2-1/4 inches wide.The actual baton holder section is open at the top, about 5.5 inches long and can accommodate a cylinder that is about 1-1/8 inches diameter (it works well as a slim tactical light holder as well as a baton holder). There is a small fabric loop at the top, 3 intermediate vertical fabric loops outside of the baton holder, and a D-ring at the bottom that allow additional attachments. The reverse of the item features two long vertical hook and loop straps that can slide into horizontal MOLLE loops, and two short horizontal hook and loop straps that provide yet another means of attaching to any vertical loops. The design of the straps and loops also allow this to be attached to a duty belt that is ideally no more than 2 inches wide (though a wider belt could be pushed into it).The stitching appears robust. Other than the weight (which comes with the system design) I can't find anything negative to say about it.As an example of an alternate use, if you have a small, short tac light (especially a 3xAAA light with a wrist strap), you can push the light fully into this holder and the top of the wrist strap will stick out the top. Getting the light out would be awkward without the wrist strap, but simply pull on the wrist strap and the light comes out with it. (A C-battery tac light is be too large to fit in this.)

I have several expandable batons and his holster is capable of accommodating them all, regardless of size. Granted, there is a limit on the size of baton it will hold, but any standard size will fit well. The material is a really nice quality and gives off a rugged feel. It's molle compatible, so application is pretty much endless. I have noticed that smaller batons fit a bit looser, as expected, but I have yet to lose one out of this holder.

The build of the holster is rugged, and about 5.25" in depth. I like the ring on the bottom, and the top has a loop for an extra attached ring, etc.The Molle velcro mount has the unfortunate problem of the belt loops being spaced exactly where typical molle mounts are. And there are no mid-attachments besides velcro. So I am not a fan of its attach-ability.
