Utterly Amazing Human Body

Super book for curious young children, with good quality facts, illustrations and science complete with pop-ups and moving sections with pull tabs. We bought this when our daughter was 5 and she's still enjoying it a year later (she's a very enthusiastic learner). I'd say its perfect for the age range of 5 to 8ish, but you'd probably want something a bit more technical/detailed for 10 and above - but also that depends how into science your children are too.

My 9 year old has not put this down and i must admit its a great book even for the adults when we get a look in! We also bought the science book at the same time and they are both fantastic books and lots of pull push and pop up bits and bobs that makes the kids want to look at it even more.

I bought the Utterly Amazing Science book which went down very well with my six-year old boy and he hasn't tired of it, and this is a great addition. Lots of lift the flap, pull this lever, try this at home... it's a very interactive book which boys, especially, love which, my opinion, is what sets it above other science facts type books. The layout is accessible and it gives lots of information without overloading the page. The language and type are clear. He dips into it and will come and tell me interesting facts he's just found out.

Birthday present for a 6 year old and they love it. An endorsement from a child is as high as it gets. Robert Winston is able to convey the facts in a wonderful readable and understandable way. He makes the science come a live. Highly recommended.
