Great Kit- So many ways to build
I've been in the R/C hobby for almost 20 years. I have owned varoius types of surface vehicles from 1/18th RTRs to 1/8 scale nitro.I always recommend the Tamiya TT kits. I owned a few TT-01 models several years ago, and wanted another DURABLE and SCALE vehicle to drive around with my son. The TT-02 is a significant update to the TT-01.I STRONGLY recommend getting a bearing kit to go with this build. Several are available on Amazon. I had shocks from other models so I just installed those, but the ones that come with this will work to get started. That should be your next upgrade. The photo where the shocks are visible shows the included kit shocks.The stock motor is more than enough power for this car, as long as you use a 2s Lip (2 cell lipo). Especially if you're more of a novice. No need to go brushless right off. More power just means more to fix until you learn how to drive!The body on this is excellent, which is why I recommend Tamiya for scale. I used to race 1/10 touring and understand the difference between "basher/fun" and "race car." This isn't a model I'd recommend for racing, unless it's a TT-02 specific class. This body is HUGE though.The tires included are actually in between slicks and rally tires- so on hard packed dirt they work fine. This is great for bashing on street and on a smooth dirt track... which I happen to have in my backyard.In summary--- buy this car. You'll have room to do whatever you want later down the road. You can fix anything on this. Upgrade anything you want. Change bodies easily.

Love this kit! So fun and so fast!
The quality of this kit is so nice! Building it from scratch was definitely rewarding and being able to see the quality and how it performed after it was fully built is nice! There’s such a huge aftermarket for these, that it’s not hard to find replacement parts for these! Super stoked on this TT02

This was a great beginner RC assembly kit. It was overwhelming to start with but once I started, everything went together just as the instructions showed. I recommend this assembly kit for the person that want to try one with out the big cost.
