SMALLRIG RS 3 Mini Quick Release Clamp for DJI RS 3 Mini, for Arca-Swiss Mount Clamp - 4195

This is a nice addition to my RS3 & a7IV rig. I was initially worried I would not be able to slide my SmallRig HawkLock cage into this since you can only slide from the left, but the tightening screw loosens enough that you can drop the camera right in and tighten it down. This is way better than working with the stock DJI plate and doesn't require a gimbal balancing every time I install my camera. Overall, it was simple to install and use, is adequately sized, and works better than anticipated. The only gripe I have is the price. It is hard to justify $30 for such a small item, but the premium quality and added functionality justify it for professional use.

SmallRig is hands down my favorite brand for rigging my Sony FX3, a7RV, and a7SIII. The craftsmanship is top-notch—everything is so precisely machined and solid. You can really feel the quality in every component.What I love most is how modular their system is. No matter the setup, there’s always a reliable solution for attaching exactly what I need. This side handle is no exception—sturdy, well-designed, and a perfect addition to any professional rig. Highly recommend for anyone building out their camera cage.

Small Rig components are well made and work like they say they work. I used this to allow me to keep my Peak Design Arca Swiss plate on my camera permanently while also using my camera on the DJI RS3 Mini.

First of all, I have to give shout out to DJI for making a fantastic gimbal. The only issue I have with it is the proprietary clamp for mounting the camera.I use an Arca-Swiss SmallRig L-bracket mount for my Sony A7IV to use on my tripod and it is an absolute pain having to remove the L-bracket then install the DJI clamp mount whenever I switch between my tripod and the gimbal.The SmallRig Arca-Swiss quick release clamp solves my problem. Ingenious!I can now seamlessly and quickly mount my camera onto the gimbal and tripod.This product is inexpensive but extremely well made and designed.Great job Small-Rig!

Just received this today and it is amazing! I would have given it 5 stars if the knobs were relocated in a better spot. I’m going to ad the extension arm and I think that would make the setup perfect. I would buy again.

Now I can easily move my a7siii camera with SmallRig cage from RS2 to RS3-mini and vice versa. Both now mount from side to side. Con is its 72 grams, versus DJI original is 54 grams and Falcam is 44 grams. (I weighed each of them myself.) Photo showing RS3-mini with SmallRig QRC, with SmallRig cage for a7siii. Fits most of my Arca plates but not all. This is just my use case, yours likely will be different.

I purchased a RS3 mini and have a built in Arca swiss L bracket plate on my EOS R and wanted to continue to leave it on and use it.This replacement lower attachment plate was a game changer and allowed me to easily do just that!It works so well that I can easily drop on my camera and no extra fumbling.Absolute must have item for RS3 mini owners.
