Better than most top brands
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Great set of ear buds my second set from personally mishandling like dropping so they are pretty good I had my first set for years before I broke them. Better than Samsung and Apple to me and call quality is great the other people couldn't even hear me

Great for the price
I bought these almost two years ago and have been using them consistently. Overall these are pretty good, especially for the price.A couple of pros: The buds are good quality and they fit in my ears well. Pairing it to my phone is usually quick and easy, and Sony has their own app to configure a couple of settings. Sound quality is great, pretty punchy bass, but it won't blow you away if you're comparing it to other higher end earbuds or headphones. Battery life is good. The buds lately have lasted me around 5-6 hours each, and the case can charge them like 2-3 times before it's dead. USB-C is a plus. They're also very reliable with very few connectivity issues and the batteries have outlasted the ones in my old Airpod Pros.Cons: The buds have a high center of gravity, and after a while they try to tilt out of my ear. They rarely have fallen out though, but I don't have this issue with other earbuds. The contacts in the case and the buds are a little annoying too. If you don't consistently keep them clean the buds will struggle to connect to the case, so I'm usually wiggling them into place until the orange charge indicator comes on. Frustrating when you leave them in another room and you realize they're still paired to your phone because they didn't detect the case. Also, for whatever reason the buttons on the buds are not configurable, so the right but will always be used to pause/skip songs and the left will be used to change the volume. So if you just have the left bud in, you're going to have to take your phone out or skip the song with an accessory like a smartwatch. Also despite repetitive cleaning, the buttons on the buds are getting harder to push and don't "click" like they used to.Still, very good value for the money. I still daily these and will until they fail. 4 stars, there's just a few things holding these back.

Great quality
Great option for a cheaper price. We have owned several pairs and love them. Easy to use, small case to carry around, and great sound quality. Battery lasts a long time too.

They works grate, until they don't.
These headphones didn't even last half a year (only 5 months) before they stopped working and became an expensive paper weight. I got these back in October of last year, not even like 2 months later the left ear bud stopped working, it would look like it was charging in the case but it wouldn't actually charge. Mind that I don't put the left ear bud on all the time, I mostly wear the right. Now as I'm writing this review the right ear bud has stopped working properly seemingly getting the same problem that the left bud has. I have not harshly use or abuse these, I have done normal eveday use and nothing that would be out of it's intended proposes. This was a waste of 70$ (what I paid at the time) and this is nothing more than e-waste when the headphones inevitably stop working for no good reason.

Very solid budget earbuds.
Good pair of earbuds. Extremely long battery life. Once worked a 14 hour shift with them in my ears almost the entire time and they were fine. Would definitely recommend. Sound quality is pretty good for the price and they fit in your ear to stay. I had some connection issues but I'm not sure if that was my phone or the earbuds. They aren't waterproof or resistant so keep that in mind. Ended up falling out while doing dishes. Pulled them out immediately after and they were still irrecoverably damaged.

The audio quality is amazing...in my opinion.
I purchased these headphones to replace an identical set that I had been using for several years. Why...you ask? Because I didn't follow the manufacturer's advice and left them in a pair of jeans that went through a washing machine cycle AND a dryer cycle before they were discovered by my wife banging around in the dryer. They were still in their charging case and believe it or not, they still worked perfectly when I turned them on. The only reason I had to order a new set was that the charging case they were in didn't survive...and a replacement case was no longer available from Sony.

These Sony Earbuds don't quite live up to the Sony name
I took a gamble buying these Sony earbuds, and I have to say that I am disappointed in the ability to control the base. Frankly, there isn't any base to speak of. There's an app that comes with the earbuds that have an equalizer that can be adjusted, but I frankly can't tell the difference. The sound quality is very thin. I actually liked my old Raycon's better and they were three years older. I am impressed that the battery lasts all day. I'm very impressed with its ability to hold a charge. I think the earbuds are great for a talk radio. But when it comes to music, I like a richer sound and I'm not getting it from these earbuds.
