Saved my life I was on a remote island in the Philippines and I was on a huge cliff climbing it of course. I had this grapple on me and I slipped but in a split second I trew the grapple and it catches me thank the lord above for this grapple I would have been 6 feet under without it also it was better strength then my steel joints! Hook is heavy sharp and easy to lock open or fold up. WHOOPY!

I bought this as a fun gift for my grown son. What guy doesn’t want grappling hook? The hook is on the smaller side, but it’s well-made and seems quite strong. The hooks can be collapsed against the stem but not by accident. They lock solidly into the open position. Can I scale tall buildings like Batman? Not sure, but the 10 mm rope does seem to be of decent quality, which I think sets this one apart from some of the other options I’ve seen.
