Brabantia compatible replacement touch bin lid catch/latch, fits most Brabantia bins by Anixter

Utterly disgusting that this item does not fit the best selling touch bin!!!!! What is the actual point? This is a con as they don’t accept returns either, so £4 literally in the bin... the bin that still doesn’t stay shut. AVOID IF YOU HAVE A 30l TOUCH BIN!!!!

stuck it in my bin with super glue, it was fine initially but then ended up jamming after a day or so's use and the lid jammed shut. I'm sure it would have been fine had I not glued it but as the bin lid was broken I had very little other choice and then couldn't remove it. Saying that I then found out Brabantia bins have a 10 yr warranty and they replaced the bin lid (which I see has known issues) free of charge.

I was about to buy a replacement bin and thought that maybe i could get away with buying a new lid then i spotted this. Saved me £50+

For such a simple piece of plastic, I thought it would continue to work longer than 3 days! It may be that the prong-like spike that it captures is also too worn to work, but that repair requires replacement of the entire bin lid! On a Brabantia that isn't cheap!

I put the bin catch on the bin and it became an ordeal. The bin catch was was a loose fitting and it kept falling off. Within 24 hours it snapped off and fell into the bin. I had the horrid task of separating my refuse to find the small tiny piece of plastic. I finally manage to fish it out of the bin. I contacted the seller and I received full a refund for my hassle. I didn’t even need to return the broken catch.

brilliant comes within time! i have ordered it 3 times as my husband slams down the bin in a bad mood and breaks it! i have slapped him for this and told him not to do it again silly man! hopefully i won't have to order any more but if i do i know it will come in good time
