I have purchased 2 of these pens in the space of a couple of days as gifts one user has arthritis and other back pain and within 5 min the users felt the benefit both users have not touched pain medication since. The instructions state 30-40 clicks but With just one click at each side of knee and same for spine the pain was literally gone no-pun-intended. Can’t rate this product high enough plus it’s great value for money 😀

This pen uses a low-frequency electrical charge that is designed to trigger your body’s natural defence mechanism against pain. Compared to a normal TENS machine it does not need any leads, pads or gels which makes it portable. It was £32.89 when purchased, no batteries or charging required so will never let you down when you need it. I originally got it for my mother who has extreme knee pain. Initially she thought it was providing some relief but after some weeks of use the effects did not resolve her pain. However, my dad also has knee pain and she suggested he try it and he felt it really did help him. So from this it seems it may or may not work but for the price it may be worth the gamble. It is shaped like a pen and you hold it on skin and simply click the button down. This action may be difficult for some if you have problems with arthritis in hand or joint problems as you do need to click down with a little more force than you would a writing pen. It can also be used through thin clothing if desired which means your modesty is protected when out and about. I tried it myself out of curiosity on my hand and to be honest I found it a little weird. I can’t explain the mechanics but it was like a pin prick with a shock attached. Not really my thing it was too unnerving for me personally. It did leave a small mark but this disappears after a short time.

This device is hard to use when you have arthritis in your hand as it takes a fair bit of pressure to make the required number of clicks. Then I found that it actually makes my pain worse so had to stop its use. Not possible to send it back and no one to complain to. Very dissatisfied!

Only used this about five times on my thumb and came out in a rash,didn’t do much for my pain either .After reading the reviews dos t look like I will get my money back. .
