For starters, our Great Dane LOVES wearing a harness! The harness is reflective for walking in the dark and that's a nice feature. Although, after 7 months of daily use the belly piece of this particular harness is fraying and the collar straps twist constantly when he walks. This was not the case for the longest time. The twisting of the straps is not a comfortable wear for my dog. I'm constantly adjusting it.The harness is adjustable and I ordered the largest size I could for him. He's a lean dog (he is busy) so he's not a bulky dane. I've trained him to be a service dog for a family member when they need him and the handle on this harness has worked just fine for the time being. It's not a hard handle like you see with some of the $200 harnesses, but it's strong enough considering I paid $22 for this harness. My boy wears his harness daily, regardless if he's needing to help someone be mobile in our home. If I say "Harness", he comes running down the hallway. He truly loves this piece of equipment. I think it fits him just fine considering it's not a custom made product. You get what you pay for with this product. I wouldn't hesitate to suggest this product as long as you know it does show wear over a short period of time. But, for $22 ...Here is where the product fails for me, but again, I walk a 'horse'. He is 140 pounds and I'm 5'5, 105 pounds. I do use a prong collar when I walk him. I would be irresponsible if I didn't. I never attach the leash to the spots on the harness that are provided without having a leash attached to his prong collar as well. However, if you have a dog that isn't large and strong and might not be sensitive to people getting close to you (he keeps me very safe on our hikes!), then you can hook your leash to the backside or the front of the harness. The rumor is if you hook to the front of the harness (chest area) your dog can't pull you or get out of his straight line of walking. This is not true if you have a large dog or one who can stand on his hind legs at 6'4. So please don't be misled with that. I would never walk my dog using this harness as my only means of controlling him. I have walked him on 2 leashes (like I mentioned before). One attached to his prong collar and one attached to the front of his harness. I know the prong collar is the only protection from him pulling if he wanted to. He is 100% responsive to that collar and we can safely walk all day long. But, it's good for him to feel the pressure of the pull on the harness points as well.After using for 7 months on a nearly daily basis: the harness is starting to show wear and tear. It doesn't look 'new' anymore. The material is fraying in areas and that's a bummer. I just don't like it when something doesn't look like it's been taken care of and thrown around, which it hasn't been. This harness goes on a hanger at night time.I hope this review and photos helps you understand the product. It's over all a great harness. I would buy one again, but knowing it won't last me a year. But like I've said, for $22 ... If your dog doesn't wear it daily like mine does, maybe yours would last longer before fraying.

I don't really leave comments on reviews or review much. But we had to after we returned. We are returning to WINSEE, because I have never had ANY harness, or collar pass the chew test of my pit bulls before WINSEE. Our pits are 8/9 now, but still chomping strong on their toys, but they gave up on the collar and the harness for the shepherd. They have always torn up their, or our king shepherds harness/collars. We had to resort to metal choke collars, which I understand the purpose, but we personally didn't want to go this route, so about 3 years ago I found WINSEE, and the original black one we got still looks brand new, is holding strong, nothing is coming loose on the stitches. Perection! So, now that we are moving we had to buy the pittys each a harness too. We were shocked how much $$ they are now from 3 years ago, not much, but due to the product and its quality it is WAY WORTH IT!! Before they didn't have so many color choices, why we got the black, but we chose 2 royal purple ones this time since the price was more affordable for us, and the color wasn't an issue for us. But slightly thinking we should have gone with a different color opened the package, and OMG the purple is gorgeous!!!!!! Since they have reflector threads within the whole harness the color is WOW! I love the color so much to the point I will buy 1 more purple for my king shepherd so they all can look amazing together after we move! WE LOVE WINSEE!, AND YOU WONT BE LET DOWN!!!!!! Thank you WINSEE for such a durable, breathe taking beautiful colors, and affordability on your amazing products!

Update: These are several years old now and I still use them. Both dogs are 125+lbs. We have been in all sorts of situations and altercations traveling the country. These harnesses still work like the day that I bought them and keep me in control even when my dog wants to do something different. Even the stitching is still 100% in solid shape. I have held the dog by the handle on the back multiple times easily. Can not recommend highly enough. Get it!!!These are by far the best harnesses for the most reasonable price that I have found. Bought my original ones about 2-3 years ago. I have two large Rottweilers that I walk multiple times per day. One weighs almost as much as I do, the other is just under 100lbs. Rotties are notorious for being able to destroy the indestructible. These harnesses are tough, safe, secure, and keep you in control. I've been in situations with other antagonistic dogs, and have still managed to keep my two by my side and under control on my own. My female tried to chew up her harness when we first started using them. She's mischievous like that ;->. She chewed one latch quite a bit, but wasn't able to destroy it and we still use the same harness 2 years later. One harness broke when an old metal pipe got snagged in it while my dog was wearing it on a walk. It spooked my male Rottie and he did somersaults and flips that I didn't know that he was capable of, and he's not a small boy. The latches did what they were supposed to do and released one side so that he wasn't harmed. I picked up the harness and put it back on him when he calmed. The only thing that it did was bust some stitches by the handle. Still usable. I ordered a new one to replace it and will keep the old one as a back up. As long as this harness is available, this is the only one that I will buy.

Our St Bernard has broken the clasps on the last 2 “heavy duty” harnesses he has had (from another manufacturer), this one has bigger clasps that are more sturdy and also is cheaper than the ones we have had in the bast. He’s bigger dog at 185lbs.

This came apart while on a walk! The rope just slid right out from the clip. Thank God we were just down the street and my dog isn't a runner but I will never use tjos again and don't recommend it. Some unfortunate mistakes just can't be forgotten and I won't try another one for fear of this happening again and I won't risk it. I rarely write reviews unless the product is impeccable or the opposite...

As it has 2 scraps and a middle bit that goes across the bottom it stop dog from turning around and walking out of Harness very happy with it.
