It works well, I picked up normal to large sized split wood for campfire and it handled it fine. Metal seems robust and thick enough to handle it. Has adequate long handles to keep you from flames. As always longevity issues of “made in china” may be factor in future but for now these work well.

These tongs far exceeded my expectations. They are very sturdy and are the perfect length for use with my woodstove. The grip material for the handles make the easy and comfortable to hold. It makes moving and turng the wood so much easier. I love them so much, I bought a pair for a family member as a gift.

I’ve really enjoyed using this product so far. It appears to be made of a high quality iron material and has serated teeth to easily and securely grasp firewood. The one issue I found with it, however, is that it the clasps sometimes become inverted if you extend the arms too far. This isn’t a huge deal but it has lead to scratches and blemishes along the teeth blades, and could possibly impeded performance in the future or even break the product in its entirety should it continue to reoccur. To summarize, I am satisfied with my purchase for the most part despite the above mentioned issue and do recommend this to others who are looking for a safer alternative to topping off their fires.

I bought these after using some wrought iron tongs that were hard to use these have a very strong grip you can move the wood very easily.

I bought these to replace the flimsy tongs I had for the fireplace. My first tongs bent when I used them on a piece of wood that probably weighed 5 lbs. I could reshape them only to have them bend again when I moved a heavy log. With the Log Grabber, I easily moved heavy logs that would've only bent up and fallen out of my first set of tongs. The Log Grabbers are sturdy. Due to space between the handles, you will need 2 hands to use them. I didn't find this cumbersome. Despite their size, I was able to pick up some smaller pieces of wood which rolled off the grate in the fireplace. I was able to do much more with the Log Grabbers than I dared do with my old tongs.

These are great for camping. The hand grips are non-slip material. 28" length is perfect. Easy open and close, once log is grabbed it won't slip out of your grasp because of serrated teeth. Didn't rust after leaving out in rain for 2 nights.

Heavy duty log picker upper, it works great for picking up logs and placing then in the fire. It has teeth which help grip logs with ease. It is very useful and we use it every time we go camping. I recommend this product.

Good sturdy tongs, perfect for fireplace and could be used for outdoor fire too. Was surprised at the quality for the price paid.I would recommend the tongs.
