Despite instructions being minimal, it’s pretty basic to apply and anyone could manage that, no proper DIY skills needed! I didn’t have a spray so used a sponge with water and worked fine. Only criticism is the bottom of it keeps curling upwards, this would have been towards the centre of the roll it arrived in so could be to do with that.On the whole from start to finish took 10 minutes to cover the window in our front door - you can see in the photos the difference this made. For the money it’s loads cheaper than having a blind made - time will tell how durable it is!

Application easy and great for keep nosy people from looking in but unfortunately started to peel away and fall off after only a few days. Ended up taping it to widow.

Got this to stop a very nosey neighbour from looking into my bedroom whilst I take a nap during the day. Very effective and look great from the outside.Instructions are scarce and it takes patience.Some tips.1. Don’t worry too much about the size to cut. Just make sure the film is larger that the window you are going to fit it onto. It’s very easy to trim any excess film after it’s fitted to the window.2. Use a table to measure and cut. Trying to do this on a floor will attract a lot of dust particles etc.3. Make sure the window is very clean before applying the film.4. Maybe use distilled water to moisten the window rather than tap water if you live in a limescale area. Also don’t use a sponge to apply the water, use a spray bottle for even water distribution.5. Use a squeegee to squeeze out the water after fitting but wrap the squeegees rubber blade in a soft cloth to stop the squeegee rubber blade from scratching the surface of the film.6. Yes, if you make a mistake it can be removed and reapplied.7. After about a week, the film becomes more clear and less cloudy on the windows giving a nice look from inside also.I’m now looking for other places to use this film. Just love the way it looks on my windows.

It's a cheap and cheerful way to stop light coming through windows or transparent surfaces. The main issue is the separation of the two layers - the roll has a green arrow stuck on that you are meant to pull and voila its as easy as pie. Unfortunately (in our case at least) pulling the tab simply removed the tab. You Tube research showed trying to separate the layers with two tabs at the corner- again no joy. Eventually it was a case of picking at a corner until the two layers separated and this was extremely frustrating! Then came the second application .. no tab this time so we decided to go straight to picking away at the roll. A 10 minute job that takes substantially longer due to the lack of separation- pity the backing layer wasn't scored so that it could be removed by simply bending the stress point.

Privacy, from these noisy neighbours. When it up, on the inside it's grey, but outside, it's white as a sheet. I can't see anything on the outside. And that makes me feel happy. The only down fall, it should be TWO films. Considering the price.

I'm no first timer to fitting window tinting, been doing it for years to cars. Although this was easy to fit, I'm quite disappointed in the quality of the product itself. It is very thick and doesn't give you crystal clear vision once dry. It's very hazy, like looking through a quality street wrapper. Or someone has smeared vaseline on your windows.

Amazing product, I actually can't believe how good these are! Honestly, Chinese products aren't always known for the greatest quality but these are insanely good material and useful, I used a Stanley knife and ruler (didn't receive a squeegy) but it was easy to cut out along my window size. I would definitely recommend spraying the window with a little soap water it is a must for it to stay in place. I have in the past thought about buying black out curtains but wondered how they might still seep light in, be more costly and heat the room up if they are thick and you have heating on. For £20 (I bought two rolls) this has done the trick. Genuinely one of the best products I've ever bought from amazon if not the best, really impressed with how easily it applies on and off, and how it can make day time feel like night. Definitely good for people who have trouble sleeping and will be recommending to others. Wow what a great buy!

We got this for my one year old's bedroom to make it as dark as possible now it's getting light in summer. It's brilliant at making it nice and dark in there so does what it says on the tin. However, as it's black, it absorbs so much heat that it turns into a radiator when the sun shines on it. So whilst it makes the room dark, it also makes it 3-4 degrees warmer so not ideal. I would recommend it though, just be prepared to cool the room another way if the sun shines on it.
