Really like these , they look just like a nice leather bracelet and last for days and the smell is actually quite pleasant and I didn’t get bit once on my last holiday when others were complaining about the bugs so it’s a yes from me

I think that if this is used together with insect repellent lotion, it works. I’m not sure if it would be completely effective on its own though. The bands have a pleasant citronella scent, so it’s easy to tell when they’ve run out and it’s time to replace it. On my trip to Zanzibar I used these wrist bands as said above and I only received one insect bite in 1 week! And that was to the back of the head. For the cost I think they have got to be worth it.

Not overly impressed - 250 hours & being waterproof does not seem to the case sadly. Great idea though.

Complete waste of time and money. Despite wearing one on each wrist and changing them every two days I still managed to be bitten eight times.

These had been recommended to me by a friend. All l can say is myself and four others wore them in Spain ( same bracelet) for six days, and no one was bitten.

Eine gewisse Abscheu entwickeln Mücken,wenn jemand dieses Armband trägt. Für den Träger entsteht die Entscheidung,lasse ich mich stechen? Oder ertrage ich den Geruch des Armbandes. Die Wirkung ist positiv. Daher für kurze Zeiten wirksam. Eher als Fußgelenkband nutzen.

Wer wirklich auf Mückenstiche allergisch reagiert, sollte etwas anderes benutzen. Bei mir haben die Bänder überhaupt nicht geholfen. Ich wurde genauso gestochen wie ohne Mückenschutz, sogar direkt am Handgelenk wo das neu angebrachte Band war. Die Bänder helfen vielleicht bei Menschen die eh nicht gestochen werden ... ein Stern ist schon einer zuviel.
