It Works
I simply plugged it in to my 2021 M1 MacBook Pro, disconnected from WiFi & it works. Can't ask for much more than that!

Excellent for new lines of Mac Book.
This is a good quality USB C adapter that worked completely 'plug and play' with my MacBook. The device is quite low profile and is in a nice gloss black finish. You can see from the photos that it has quite a long flexible cable - presumably to allow it to bend out of the way of any other devices. This could be a pro or a con depending on your situation - without the ethernet lead pulling the adaptor in a direction it sits perpendicularly out from plugged in alongside it.Given that my laptop doesn't have an ethernet port this device has given me a little bit of flexibility in case I encounter a place where wifi is awful and ethernet reigns supreme (as was the case in my university halls, for example). It's small enough to live in my laptop bag and be forgotten about until it's needed. The speed tests pictured show that it is easily keeping pace with my home 802.11n wifi and in reality would almost certainly outperform it when I wasn't sitting 1.5 meters directly across from the router. Recommended!

Works on my Android phone out of the box.
I'm currently writing this review from my Android phone (Xiaomi MIUI 12.5, Android 11) using this Ethernet adapter. Disabled mobile data and WiFi, plugged this in, and it simply works. It has roughly halved my ping to 8ms, from 15ms on WiFi. Could probably get a bit lower plugged direct into main router, rather than through a switch, then a powerline adapter.

Recommended
It works really good, the internet is quite fast through it and it is small so very easy to carry. The design is pretty basic so it is ideal for its job. I recommend it if you want to buy an adaptor for your Mac.

Simple plug and play ethernet for a notebook
I bought this in error, thinking that it converted from ethernet to USB 3. I bought a cheap USB C to USB 3 coverter and it works perfectly. It's well packaged in cardboard and looks good.

Superb value with excellent service
Simple, effective device. Excellent value for money. Simply plugged into my dell laptop and got wired connection to internet.
