Every color, easy to use.
I would like to agree with the one reviewer that said that it dries hard. It does. It is white glue that dries clear and it does in fact dry hard. I have never seen glue that does not dry hard so imagine it is just like any other glue that you are used to. I got it right after two tries. I would also agree with the reviewer that says the color is hard to match. There is a color key that tells you what to mix to make what color. That is very helpful, but it is still likely that it may be a little off. I would suggest mixing up the fibers first and then before gluing them loosely put some of them on the part that you are repairing to make sure the match is right. You can always add more of other colors if the match is not right before the glue step. You get a lot of different color, pretty much any color can be made. Then when putting the glue on the hole make sure you press the glue down to get it all the way in the hole. Also if the hole is at an angle take that into consideration. The glue can become thicker towards the bottom of the hole because of gravity. After the glue step when you put the fibers into the hole press it down into the glue and then add more fibers. Make sure you get them down into the hole. Overall it does not take long at all. I had set aside a few hours and it took about 15 minutes start to finish, but like I said it had to be done twice because the color was a little off the first time. Now it looks great. If you didn't know the hole was there you cannot see the repair. I would recommend this product.

Great for burn holes.
Good value for the money. Definitely not perfect, but significant improvement for cigarette burns on car seats.

How bad is your damage?
That's what you need to ask yourself before buying this kit. If the damage is only to a very small area then you might be able to help yourself out with this. You get everything you need in the kit. The pots of different colored fabric...shavings??..are interesting. You also get the glue (2 of those), a small piece of canvas backing, a little mesh screen and a little plastic mixer/applicator that looks like those plastic tabs that keep men's collars from curling up on the edges. The piece of canvas is about 3"x3" (as is the mesh) and you will probably have to use it if you are trying to repair a hole or burn. You trim it to a size just a bit smaller than the hole you are patching. Tuck it in underneath the edges. Then you are ready for the fun part. Before you try you interior you want to practice. And practice. The fabric-to-glue ratio is very tricky. And at the end of the day you still might end up with an area that looks like you spilled a glob of glue on your car.Which is why I say, take a look at your damage and if you are really needed a repair, go to a professional. If a small glob of glue somewhere in your car doesn't bother you (hey, at least it's not a hole) then go for it.

Inexpensive way to repair unsightly hole in cloth seat.
I used this to repair a cigarette burn in a cloth vehicle seat. It worked well for this application and I am very pleased with the results. It took me about 20 minutes, including reading the instructions. The patch is visible and can be seen if you look for it, mostly because of the difference in texture. However, most people didn't notice it with just a casual glance and it looks significantly better than a burn hole. I believe results will vary based on the amount of effort and attention to detail you put into applying the patch. The kits contains several small containers with colored, powder-like fibers, a small piece of backing cloth, fabric glue, a plastic application stick, a sifting screen, and an empty mixing cup. The small containers are a little difficult to open because of their small size. The application stick is really flimsy and I would recommend using something like a popsicle stick for larger repairs. Otherwise I have no complaints. It is fairly easy to use the kit. Instructions are adequate. The only challenging part is mixing the fibers together to match the color of the fabric. There is a guide to get you close to the correct color, then you will need to use trial and error to tweak the color for an exact match. I was able to match the color almost perfectly after just a few tries.

Not Durable and easily noticed
This product works OK. I used it on a buddy's 2003 Toyota 4Runner with grey cloth seats (i got a cigarette burn on the seat). The seats were checkerboard/crosshatched. He noticed the cigarette burn repair within 10 seconds of getting in the car. The fabric material also came right off within 1-2 hours. Compared to how it looked, it was a good improvement, but not good enough. Doesn't look that good and is NOT durable. For as cheap as it is, it's not bad. The repair isn't super durable, but there is enough to redo the repair several times. If you want a quick, acceptable fix, this is a good product. If you want a permanent, OEM matching repair that looks great, then unfortunately this will not be acceptable(you should get in touch with an upholstery shop or find a spare seat in a junkyard)

Good price
Takes a while to figure out how to do it.

Good repair kit.
The product allowed my brother to repair his car's seat, that he burned with a cigarette, before his wife found out. It's not completely invisible, but the repair is very good, and considerably less noticeable than a hole.
