A really good cylinder Hand Mower.
I like my Webb H18 46 Hand Mower, a lot. This is a very well made, easy to assemble, set-up and use piece of equipment. It has a very reassuring weight to it, being heavy enough to travel over my non-bowling green lawn without bouncing around, yet not so heavy that it presents a difficulty lifting it in and out of the shed (assuming you are a regular gardener and moderately physically fit). The mower's 18 inch wide cut means fewer runs up and down the garden than I had to do with the little Qualcast 30 (12 inch) that I have used for may years. The adjustment of from 75mm to 12mm means that you can get a really trim lawn, but don't have to worry if you have missed a week or two, due to the weather or having been away ( just be sure to remove no more than half the grass length at a time, leave for a couple of days and repeat untill you reach the desired length, making for a healthier lawn ). The height adjustment is as easy as you could wish it to be. I noticed that a previous reviewer stated that their mower's height adjuster kept bouncing out as he went over lumps in the lawn. I have not had this problem and I have a more 'natural' bump and dip lawn than some might like. I can only assume that there was an issue with the retaining spring or bolt assembly, both of which should be quite easy to rectify, and I am sure the manufacturer would be more than happy to sort the problem out, being a well established British company.I am very satisfied with my Webb H18 Hand Mower, it doesn't require petrol or an electrical feed, provides me with exercise without disturbing the neighbour's, gives a really good cut to the lawn and sounds good whilst doing it.

EXCELLENT cylinder mower. made to last
love this mower. it is quite heavy in fact very heavy. Im 6"1 and 14 stone so if i struggle, I imagine most would. Its a great workout though and the wide width of cut has the job done quickly. Seems manufactured to a very high quality. my last hand cylinder mower was much smaller and lighter but also very noisy. this mower is almost completely silent. My wife is 5"3 and 8.5 stone. I dont think she could use this mower unless it was on the highest setting and then hardly any grass is cut. One of my chief complaints with old cylinder mower was that it was impossible to get the stripes as the roller was rubbish. Brillian roller on this creates stripes like by lithium powered 36v mower.

It's had to go back. Adjustment is nigh impossible to get an even cut.
Update.4 cuts in and this is being returned. The biased cut is impossible to adjust and following the instructions it still cuts more to the left. Ive tried everything and it really shouldn't be this difficult.Very disappointed but simply cant put up with it.After downsizing from big lawns and a trusted Honda petrol mower we decided a push mower was going to be less trouble and easier to live with. After a lot of research and reading some very useful reviews we decided upon the Webb WEH18.The assembly instructions aren't as clear as they could/should be and the technical writer needs to reevaluate and improve these. I'm technically minded and did work it out but there could be clearer instructions.I would have expected the mower to have been set up on leaving the factory but it had a biased cut and adjusting the blade can only really be done by removing the plastic grass deflection plate. The pozidrive four screws. It was then the advised paper cut test and a few attempts to get it right. A better designed adjustment (manual knob turning without having to use a 13mm spanner) could and should be engineered to make this top class. It does cut well and the grass collection box does its job.It is well built and a few tweaks to its build and blade adjustment and improvements to the instructions could make this a 5 star product. Would I recommend?Yes, even after the first cut I think I'm going to get on with it and enjoy the pollution free and less noisy petrol mowers that will now be sold.

Pretty good product
I bought this to use instead of a petrol powered mower (rotary) as I wanted a better cut and a machine that was less damaging to my lawn. I'm pretty happy with it. It's width means that the lawn gets cut quickly and the cut is quite nice. You get a bit of striping with this this mower but it's not long lasting. Negatives? The width makes it a bit less maneuverable than smaller hand mowers and it can be harder to push if you let your grass get longer than normal. Overall, very happy with it.

Difficult to set up and a heavy, solid piece of engineering
The mower is a solid piece of engineering and as a result it is heavy, but that is not a bad thing. The mower is almost impossible to set up to achieve a cut of paper across the whole of the width of the cylinder and I believe that this is because the build is not within the necessary tolerances. It meets the spec at two points but never at the third. When I call customer service that said as I had bought the mower on Amazon, rather than direct, that they needed videos, etc and tried to make it as complicated as possible to get an exchange - I gave up!Sad - as the mower mostly cuts well, but not across the whole width.

Worth Every Penny!!
Excellent piece of gardening equipment, I purchased this whilst the battery powered mower i normally use is in for repair. This mower is easy to push due to it being light enough but not too light that it bounces around when being pushed. The lines it produces make the garden look really nice, I've only had it a day but already love it. I've received comments from pther saying that it's "like a bowling green" due to its fine cut.
