Great shorts
Great board shorts with longer legs like I prefer, velcro and ties at waist, pocket in back, great non-fading color = great shorts!

Two Inches Too Big
Overall, these are solid trunks. Unfortunately, they're too large for the size they advertise.The material the Eastern Trunks are made out of are stretchy. This makes them comfy and quick drying. On the downside, I wouldn't recommend using these on any water slides. I had a pair of RVCA trunks made of this material before and they tended to act as brakes on your rear when making contact with the water slide. Otherwise, the material's great!My one complaint about the Eastern Trunk is that it runs large. I ordered a 32 waist when I normally wear a 33. I figured I could let out the waist ties if needed. Even with them being an inch below my normal size, these trunks hang a little off my waist (fully sinched). This may be the quality of manufacturing or it could just be that they run large.While the quality is high and the price was right for me, the sizing issue was enough for me to lower the trunks to 3 stars. You may want to order a couple pairs in the sizes just below what you normally wear to get the right fit.

I didn't want to pull the trigger and spend the money on these, I'm glad I did, fit great! As a 33 waist I fall between 32 and 34... 33 has always worked out best, these are true to size. They appear to be made very well.

Pretty dang good.
One of the Eylets from the pocket fell out after 2 months. Im only in the pool or the ocean an average of 5 hours a week.Other then that, the shorts are great! I love the colors.

A good choice.
Not fancy at all. Stretch when you need them to. The Velcro front “zipper” is dated. I would buy them again just for there comfort.

Great fit
My husband already had a pair of these so he knew which size to get. His other pair he bought in a store so he was able to try them on before buying them. He did go up a size. He usually wears 33 waist in jeans. He bought 34 waist in this brand of swim trunks.
