An old-fashioned product, well-loved
I bought my first tin of Bolst's almost sixty years ago, after a friend recommended it. Hard to find in the London of1961, but well worth it. Mild was then the only choice, but I pumped it up with Chilli powder. A real revelation after the brands then available. Buying seperate spices was very hard before the arrival of so many Asian shops. I retain my pleaure in thie mixture.

Overpriced, but good stuff.
This curry powder has a really nice flavour, definitely better than any supermarket curry powders. It is extreeeeemely overpriced online though as a tin five times the size would cost half the price in the Indian shops in Slough or on any high street in a city with a diverse population. COVID is really doing a number on us with sellers hiking prices up 1000% on stuff we really want, like decent-quality curry powder. Sad times! But yeah - nice curry powder.
