Update: I’ve had these for over a year now and they’ve help up great. The paint has been scratched off a little and you can see the bare stainless, but they get abused. I use for trailer chains and use weekly. Also pull rv occasionally. These links are the perfect size and good quality for the price. Easy to install and use.

The links are great and did what I needed. They come in what would be a neat little plastic storage box, but it was busted in transit in the flimsy envelope in which they arrived. The links themselves seem to be of good quality. If that's all you need, they'll do the job. The box says they hold 1,500 lbs each. I don't need it to hold that much weight, so I can't speak to that. They will hold up bodies on a porch swing, though.

Purchased for tree stand harness straps and connectors. Good quality and have a great strength rating with locking closure. Using this to hold up egg chairs. Works amazing! We have family members of various weights and the chairs have held up with no hesitation. I’m confident in sitting in the chairs myself as well.

Recently I was working out on my 30 year old lat machine. It is a very durable machine. I never had a problem of any kind of previous. On one rep as I pulled the cable downward the weights on the cable end closest to weights dropped them all downward to the floor. The heavy steel bar I was pulling was instantly going toward for my cranium. I can only credit lucky reflexes for avoiding serious injury. The cause was a “S-hook” holding the disk weight end of the cable that was pinched sideway & released all the weights. This was a first ever event. These heavy duty quick release chain link connectors have solved my problem once & for all. This product is working perfectly I highly recommend it. John C
