ASICS Men's Gt-2000 8 G-tx Running Shoe

I've had a while and have lasted well despite using quite a bit for cycling (which can be tough on trainers. They run slightly small for size (as true for many with a waterproof membrane - I guess they can't stretch) and I'd probably go for a slightly wider base to the sole for a stability trainer but I haven't found another soft impact, waterproof, stability trainer so will definitely be buying again.

I have used my GTX-2000 8 shoes for two short (5K) runs now and found them very comfortable from the start, without any breaking in required. My previous pair were Brooks Adrenalin GTS 18, which I also rate highly and find the Asics seem just as good, with the added advantage of being completely waterproof. My last run was in the wet, and as expected my feet were still dry at the end. They seem to be still breathable, but time (and longer runs) will tell. They also look great, so I have no hesitation in giving them 5 stars.

Very comfortable fit. I have wide feet and they fit perfectly without needing to buy the size up.Have always bough Asics trainers and these have kept to my high expectations happiness with their products.

I've had many pairs of Asics GT running shoes, but this is the first GTX version I've had, but all familiar and good so far

I'm very dissapointd with these shoes. I found the instep to be quite uncomforatble and it took an effort to break them so they were almost comfortable. Now within one year the shoes are porus to light dew on grass. Unfortunately I am advised the Returns window is closed" Overall not a good experience.

They are a good quality shoe but you may need to go up one size as the gore tex lining impedes toe space. I lost a big toe nail as a result.

I love these shoes but I have been buying them for years they never disapoint

Love the idea of the gore Tex and I love black trainers just not been able to put these to test yet as I’m full of cold 😡
