Hi, this product doesn’t have any smell at all. It is not formaldehyde based.

Q: does it release fumes when straightening?

Hi, Any keratin or protein treatment release fumes or vapor during the Flatiron step due to oxidation process. The fumes from this product is low and non toxic at all as it doesn't contain any form of formaldehyde or any hidden chemical. This product contain pure Cysteine amino acid and Keratin. You shouldn't experience any itch eyes or any breathing discomfort at all.

Q: Can this be used on previously colored hair that has permanent color?

Hi, this product can be used on any colored hair. However this product will lighten the color 1 to 2 shades down.

Q: How long will the hair be straightened? How often should I use it on my hair?

Hi . This is a treatment that should last 3-4 month. However you can use every two month as well.
