Abba - The Singles Collection 1972-1982: Singles Set

For long ago I was expecting to own this collection... since ABBA is one of my favourite groups. The tin-can became so expensive, but this was a good option at a fair Price, instead of the original limited edition one. The only thing I gave this package 4 Stars is for the quality of the sleeves... it has no photo enhancing work: they took the original sleeves, scanned them and send to print... without enhancing the picture... with photoshop and other better programs they should had take advantage of this to release a better work. The audio quality is very fine... there's no complains about that.So, prepare to listen ABBA singles and enjoy!

Great item and service

This is a collection of 28 CD singles based on the vinyl singles originally released in Germany by Polydor between 1972 and 1982.If you're from the UK and had the vinyl versions of the singles first time round, you might be a little disappointed with this. But only a little. As it is not based on the UK Epic releases, a couple of the b-sides differ, and some of the later picture sleeves are not as we remember. Indeed, some of the singles such as People Need Love, Eagle and Honey Honey weren't even released in the UK while, frustratingly, Lay All Your Love On Me is missing.However, that is just nit-picking! The majority of the b-sides, and many picture sleeves, are exactly as the UK releases. This is a great set. At the time of release (1999), it included a couple of genuine rarities, the 1974 re-mix of Ring Ring and the 1999 re-edit of Eagle.Overall, this is a pleasing boxed set and a welcome addition to any Abba collection.

you have to love ABBA I was a kid in the 70s so ABBA was in the number one spot my most loved song was the winner takes it all, I had the singles on LP in the 80's and I got this tin box set free from a friend and now it's in my music collection I do have the album box set as well, If your a true ABBA fan I give this Tin 10 out of 10 and a real must to any ABBA fan
