The benefits of the toy are shown on my pics 6 and 7 of the review, I agree with all the statements about the learning and skills involved in this toy. The toy becomes open ended with the inclusion of the blank magnetic board, so they can create their own pictures. It comes with a small box to store the magnetic pieces which you punch out. Due to the size of the magnetic discs no under 3's and no child who has special needs and would put them in their mouth, YOU KNOW YOUR CHILD, USE WITH THIS IN MIND!The box is not overly large, if the box it comes with gets a bit tatty you could use plastic wallets to store the boards in and a smaller wallet for the magnetic pieces. I often put toys in these but cut out instructions off the boxes. As a teacher, I took a lot of our old games into school, and over the years the boxes were little too no good, but this storage method was brilliant for prolonging the life of a game or toy etc. That way you can pass it down within the family!I like anything that helps children learn. Could be taken on holiday as it is not an overly large box or stored at a caravan. When my children were small, I only bought toys and games three times a year, Christmas, Birthday and Summer Holidays. We did not have dozens of toys, but games and toys had to teach the children something or help with skills and development.Happy to recommend.

This is a very unique and creative toy which my toddler loved. It features multiple pictures as well as a blank canvas and coloured magnetic dots lined with felt. The dots need to be popped out of the holders and you get a range of colours as well as 2 glitter options. The glitter however is not something I would recommend as it just gets everywhere! We ended up removing this entirely due to the mess it would make so not recommended, however, the colours were perfectly fine. Each themed picture has slots that need to be covered and then dashed lines and sections you can freely stick onto to make your own creations. It’s an activity where (if you remove the glitter dots) is mess free and can be played again and again. Lots and lots of fun but definitely to keep away from smaller children due to the small dots and dangers of them swallowing it. Very highly recommended, just not the glitter dots.

What I like most about it is that it can be redone as many times as you want. It is not just a one time play. This way kids get to play multiple times and if there are more kids they all get to play multiple times. That is what makes it worth it.Also it is well made and the images are really cool. The magnets hold well and they are easy to remove.

Great for all ages and for boys and girls. Comes with everything you need go make the pictures. These can be used over and over again. Easy to follow instructions aimed at children. My daughter loves making the pictures and getting the correct colours.

I sat down with my 3 year old and 6 year old granddaughters to do this, the first thing you have to do is pop out all the dots, but that is not as easy as it looks, they are quite difficult to dislodge form the sheets, the 6 year old gave up and the 3 year old could not do it so I had to do it all for them.Once all the dots where free it's just a case of sticking them on the pictures, the problem here was they did not stick, in fact place them all on the white dots then tilt the card they all just slid off, they did stick for some reason on the plain black card but not as well as I would have thought.The girls played with the different picture cards for a bit then gave up and just played with the dots, which is all they have done since, just arranging them in there respective colours, the 3 year old just seemed to like tipping them into the box and then tipping them on the floor, so I now keep finding little coloured dots all over the place, on the floor out in the back garden everywhere.So for us the picture cards don't get used and the dots although fun for the kids just make a mess.

I was a bit anxious about this one because small magnets + children = not always a very good idea, but after a very long lecture, she had a whale of a time with them. The best bit for her was the blank magnetic board which freed her to use her 'artistic licence'. This definitely will keep kids busy and entertained for a while, though I do think at £20 the price is a bit steep.

I had a dot it activity pack from Skillmatics before, which my 4 year old enjoyed completing. So I was excited to try out this reusable magnetic dots. It works well, and you have a nice little box to store the dots in. I like that it comes with a blank board with a booklet of ideas, to help encourage your child's creativity. The magnets stick well, and look effective.

We got this before we hopped on a plane for vacation and I'm so glad we did! It was so fun for the kids and so easy to use! The kids were able to swap the magnetic pieces easily and change up the pictures!

As expected, received another Skillomatics product with top class quality. Good for the little ones aged 3-5.

This is a fun little activity for younger kids. It comes well packaged and neatly organized. You have to push the magnets out of their sheets and place them on the 5 included pictures. The magnets have a small box for storage when not in use. The pictures are pretty basic and very simple but the creative board is an nice added bonus. You basically add magnet dots anywhere you see a white circle or squiggly dotted lines. Or you can be completely creative and place them wherever you'd like :) they stick well and there's a ton of them included. It kept my 4 year engaged for a while. I do wish there were more pictures included. And my 7 year old didn't care for it at all, so I'd say it's best for maybe ages 3-6. Just watch the 3 year old to make sure the pieces don't get put in their mouth.
