The texture of this powder is better than any I've seen. It smells good and it flavors my meals perfectly. It is a full pound so it'll fill up your little spice container often and makes it easy for recipes that require a bit to just open the bag to get some out. I love buying spices in bulk. Saves money and time.

This is a very fine powder with a great flavor. The flavor is not as bold as some of the other granulated garlic on the market, but that is often the case with such a fine dry powder. I like to have both fine powder and a more course granulated dried garlic on hand depending on what I am preparing (in addition to fresh or minced "wet" garlic). This fine powder is good when you need to mix the garlic evenly through other ingredients and the more subtle flavor keeps you from overpowering the other ingredients. This almost has a toasted quality to it (like when you dry minced fresh chives in the oven). Very happy with this. Great product at a great price. I also have granulated organic garlic from California that has a more bold taste and is whiter in color. I like organic garlic since it is a wet root and would otherwise take up whatever pesticides and herbicides are used where grown, and getting it from a good source is a plus.

I use turmeric daily and this is VERY good. You do not have to use as much to get the kick of it. It is very potent and a little goes a long way. The flavor and color are amazing. The spice is amazingly fresh and stays that way in the bag. It lasts for me about 8 months - remember I use it daily. That is a good chunk of time.I have purchased this exact product before and will continue to purchase it.

"Powder" is right. This grind is fine like flour. I prefer a medium/course grind. So be aware of how ridiculously fine this actually is.Strength? Average. Not the stongest garlic I've found. And because of the fine flour grind, it's hard to get a real taste with just a sample.Packaging? As a few others have mentioned and shown, the bag this was in reminds me of a mylar balloon. And of course, when the delivery driver dropped (literally) it off at my door, it split near a seam. Thankfully it was just a small split, and only a little of the product was seeping out.Just be aware.. IMO it's far too "floury", the pungency is rather weak, and the packaging is subpar.But since I had to open it to find this out, there's no real option to return it, soooo...¯\_(ツ)_/¯ it'll still get used.

I am very disappointed with the sesame seeds I purchased on Amazon. My search for black sesame seeds at local grocery stores turned up empty, so I resorted to buying them online. Unfortunately, the product I received doesn't seem to align with the positive reviews others have shared.Firstly, the packaging differed from what was displayed on Amazon's website. Instead of the expected silver packaging, I received a package with a black plastic coating on clear film. Some spots the black coating peeled off so I can see through the spot, which make me suspect the package is not food grade. This was an initial letdown.Upon opening the bag, I was hit with a strong chemical odor. I am not sure it comes from the package or the seeds.Furthermore, the texture of the seeds was disappointing as well. They were tough to chew and lacked the characteristic taste of sesame that I was anticipating. I even tried cooking them in the microwave, but the results were far from satisfying. The special, pleasant sesame smell never come outIn a side-by-side comparison with some genuine black sesame seeds I had on hand, the differences became even more apparent. Real black sesame seeds typically have a dark brown hue with other colors mixed in, whereas the product I received had a uniform, overly black appearance. I regret putting these seeds into my mouth. This experience has left me thoroughly unsatisfied and cautious about future online food purchases.
