Sturdy
I have put this in a cupboard and it holds quite a few heavy jackets. Good quality, definitely worth the money. 2 minutes to install.

Not cheap, but very effective
The shower curtain rod we had was slipping quite often, also because we use it often to hang clothes to dry. This one is definitely much more solid, sporting large plates.Since installing last month, it has not moved at all, and can take quite a bit of weight. The only thing is that it is considerably thicker than a standard rod, so standard curtain rings might be a bit too tight and need widening by hand.Besides that, and despite the price, which is a bit steep, it is really very good and will not slip.

As of yet I cannot fault this product
As I stated in the title, as of yet I cannot fault this product. The reason for 4 star and not 5 is because I think it's fairly expencive for what it is, but this does not reflect on the item itself in any way.The extendable bar seems to be made to a reasonable quality and much better than some others that are similar market competitors. In the past I have found that they will either slip and not grip tight enough in the first place, or they well loosen over time and then slip. I cannot tell whether it is the large and textured wall grip feet that hold it so well or just the locking/extending mechanism being good quality. To get it to lock you screw it, which extends the last amount and puts the right amount of tension on it.I actually got this to use in my van, for the dual purpose of hanging things on, and also using as a stay bar to stop my boxes of things sliding around into the dogs space while I was driving. It was strong enough to hold my boxes, a couple of them fairly heavy, while I drove around, and also to hang my bits and bobs on at night when I was using it as a hanging bar. Although I didn't test it with any vertical hanging heavy loads for a long period of time, I did keep using it to dry my soaking wet, huge bath sheet towels, and I kept pulling them off from underneath, so there was the weight of the wet towel, plus the equavilent force of me tugging on the wet towel from the bottom and the towel gripping the bar (with the towel folded in half over the bar, if you see what I mean). At no point during this carelessness was I worried that the bar was about to come down and crack me on the head or in my face. There was a very minimal amount of flex to the bar, but I beleive this is a good thing as it makes it more secure against the walls.Overall I'm very happy with my van wardrobe, towel rail and stay bar :)

Very sturdy rod
Very sturdy rod, the grip pads are large and work super well it keeping to rod up. Its super easy to adjust the length using the screw lock system. Once in place it feels sturdy and holds it place really well. The rod it self is made of metal with everything else being plastic.

Good, sturdy rod but overpriced
This curtain rod is of good quality, sturdy and durable. The pole is extendable which means you can use it almost anywhere you want. Love the fact that the grip pads are wide so they really stay put and also the fact that you do not have to drill any wall / shelf to install it. Installing the rod is fairly easy and simple and takes only a few minutes. It also does not require any complex tools to install it. I have used it in the bathroom to hold the shower curtain and I can confirm that it has done the job well.Having said that, I do find that the rod is slightly overpriced.Overall, i would say that this is a good, sturdy rod but slightly expensive.Hope you find this review helpful.
