One of those tools that you might use once every few years but makes doing steering rack boot clips so much easier. Tool is well made and easy to use.

I’ll only use this twice but it was worth purchasing for the job - tightening the inner tie rod boots on a Porsche Cayman which would have been impossible without this tool

Great piece of kit, robust well made and worth the money. Handled all crimping with ease!

Only version I could find that allowed me to easily crimp the boot clamps whilst on the car.

Not enough offset. The pliers are almost flat and it is difficult to get them on the clamp part of the tie. The bellows part of the rubber boot gets in the way so you have to get at it on an angle. I had to use steelworkers nips to finish the job.
