Great once you understand its intricacies
A great camera once you understand its intricacies. Need ALKALINE batteries and an SD card that isnโt too large - I use a 2GB one. You need to play around with the settings and more time than not, change the settings in different environments. Itโs great but you need patience !

Faulty Kodak camera
I purchased a KODAK PIXPRO FZ45 digital camera from you on Amazon.co.uk on 9 April 2026. Unfortunately, it will no longer power on. I have only used the camera a couple of times since receiving it. It has been well looked after, stored properly, and is otherwise in like-new condition.Given the price of the camera, I expected it to be more reliable and durable. I am disappointed that it has stopped working after such light use. Could you please let me know how we can resolve this? I would like either a replacement or a full refund.

Light to hold and easy to use.
I was looking for a lightweight camera to take on holiday rather than using my iphone, which I normally use. This is easy to use and the buttons work well and are not sticky. I like the ease of using batteries for ease when being abroad rather than trying to hunt down a spare plug in the room! Nice colour and it comes with a strap. The quality of the photos seems to be ok and the zoom function is helpful, although I will miss using the pinch function on my phone screen! Overall a good buy.

In two minds.
Whilst i did enjoy this cameraโs quality, i noticed that it had a tendency to freeze and stop working. This meant that the buttons would no longer function and iโd have to take the batteries out in order to turn it off. Whether this is due to a fault in the memory card/batteries or due to an issue in the actual camera is beyond me. Overall a very easy camera to use and 100% worth it for the low price. Many tutorials are available online to help with settings/modes but it is all relatively simple to do without a tutorial.
