Hot Rod Cigarette Tubes, Smooth King Size, 2-Pack, 400 Tubes Total

Just got these today. I've been checking the filters of all my purchases, especially what is advertised for the length of them, if advertised at all. We all know that the filter is the most expensive part of the production process. I am a machinist by trade and I do know how to accurately measure items. It's unfortunate, but these filters advertise a 20mm filter length on the box and they're not! With my dial calipers they come in at .739" long, which is 18.77mm, not 20mm. Still the longest filter of the brands I've ordered so far. I also noticed that the paper is heavier like the ZEN Tubes at .0018" thick and the whitest white I've seen to date on any of the tubes I've purchased. I have purchased 5 different brands of tubes, ZEN, Gambler, Zig Zag, Hot Rod and Premier. I still want to try the Gizeh tubes as soon as I can find them for less than $14 a box. Without chemical testing I can't tell of course the quality of the papers i.e., bleached or chlorine soaked. I'm working on it to find a test kit. I'm a Prime member and it still took 5 days to get these. I'll pack some, smoke them and get back to you.Ok, packed a few and smoked them. This is why I'm raising from 2 stars to 3 stars. Have to say these are good and smoother than the Zen Tubes, at least to my taste. And the burn was fine. Packed them with my new Powermatic III+ on the Kings setting and only had to trim a few. The longer filter does make a difference.Bravo, Hot Rod Tubes. I will purchase again. Try to bump that filter up to the 20mm, please.

Since I started rolling my own, this is the fourth or fifth brand of tubes I have tried. As a matter of fact, I have a closet full of unused tubes. These tubes are by "far" so much better than all the rest. The filter is longer, which makes taking a drag feel like a regular smoke. I highly recommend these to all that now roll their own.

The paper isn’t real think like I have found with other products. Gives a nice consistent burn.

Item description states it comes with 2 boxes of 200 tubes each for a total of 400 tubes. I only received 1 box of 200 tubes.

I received these on time and in good condition. Haven't had a single failure from an entire box. I like these very much.

Product itself is fine but somewhere both shipments got dinged up badly. Ordered two- two packs and almost 1/3 of one box on each shipment is unusual enough so to severe crinkling. External box appears okay in both cases so not sure exactly how this happened. Remaining product is as expected.

Some of the better tubes I've tried. No trouble getting them on my machine and they burn well. Better than some of the expensive brands.

The only reason i gave 4 stars is because a few of them weren't glued all the way. But other than that I'd still buy them.
