I was first given the (non-turmeric) version of this tea at a business meeting. I walked in and asked for some tea because I was sick and could barely speak due to coughing and a sore throat. They didn't have anything except plain black tea, which I was willing to drink due to my desperation. However, my disappointment must have been clear on my face because the other party's client (whom I had never before met) asked me if I would prefer some of his Ginger Lemon Tea. I drink water with a slice of lemon and chopped up real ginger root in it (an elderly Indian client told me this is his key to staying healthy). So, ginger lemon tea sounded heavenly to me. Imagine my surprise when the gentleman went into his briefcase and pulled out a FULL BAG of these Ginger Lemon drink packets. He gave me a handful to take home, and I drank one during the meeting to help my throat. I later learned there is no tea in these packets but there is real ginger, and that is key. I have been buying them for years. Now, I recently saw they have new variations including this Turmeric one, which I immediately bought. I take Turmeric supplements daily to help with my lymphatic flow in my legs. More Turmeric, particularly with ginger, is great. I love how this tea is effervescent and has a bit of an almost peppery kick to it. While I love rooibos tea if i want actual tea, this is my go-to hot drink if I need to soothe a sore throat or pick up my mood. It is sweet (sweeter than my no sugar tea, in any event) so just be aware of that.

The ginger crystals make a great tea. The flavor is good and no need to add sugar or honey. Ginger is great for relaxing my upset tummy. Both caffeine and gluten free drink.

I absolutely love this tea! The taste of the combination of Turmeric, Ginger, & Cinnamon is so good and relaxing. I look forward to drinking this tea hot every day.
