Good book
My daughter opened it the day it arrived and happily played various pieces from it with glee. She won't even stop. She is about grade 3-4 standard, and it is just the right material for her. Nice sounding pieces that cheers you up. It also has ABRSM pieces (grade 4 A piece, grade B piece and grade 5 A piece) in it for those who wants to sit exams.

Suzuki lesson books are the best.
Bought for my 8yo daughter. She began this book3 after 11 months of learning to play the cello. I like how this book series keep revisiting some of the same pieces; each time they teach the same piece with a different focus and emphasis as the player/learner deepens the understanding of music and improves his/her playing ability.Lastly, although it only applies to me, as a parent who grew up in Japan, many pieces in the Suzuki string books are near and dear to my heart. I simply love listening to my kids (the other daughter grew up on Suzuki violin books) learning these books.
