I also believe that better reviews have less stars sometimes
I do not usually give 5 stars, but this was almost the exception, because of the product is exactly what i expected and a little more for the price. I also believe that better reviews have less stars sometimes.OK so into the review.I have had many pairs of combat pants, but never any with these particular options, built in knee pads multiple pocket access, padded waist band.Construction:The pants seem to be of a very high level of construction. Some loose threads can be seen, but they do not yet seem to be compromising the construction of the pants. Most seams are double threaded, and you can see from one of the pictures that some of the pockets have threaded re-enforcement at the top. They seem to have engineered spots better that will see the most wear. I applaud them for that. What I disappointed about was the fact that not all the pockets had this. The knee pads are a softer material, not abs more like a butleyne with a styrene molecule added to the end of the chain. There where some obvious defects in the mold, nothing that will effect the use of durability. I will test these out more as I wear them. I'm hoping they are a different compound that the butylene as I may come into contact with solvents on the ground. If that happens the butylene wont last long, and when it breaks down it has an odour of vomit to it.Camo colour:I am actually quite impressed by the colour match to the real thing. In fact it might be the real thing. I will have to test out its IR signature to be sure. But it is very close. If you are not familiar with CadPat. Here is the deal. It is impossible to get. I am glad that Invader Gear is making CadPat stuff for the commercial market. Because for team lime mine that want to wear it, its nice that there are options.Fit:The pants fit quite well, better than expected for sure. Ordering things on-line can be difficult. But their measurements are spot on, as long as you are honest with your self, these will probably fit. The do seem a bit short, and getting them over my Solomon GTX's might be difficult, they also do not come with a tick guard built in. So in you are in areas that predominately have ticks, this might be something that would add on latter. Its not hard or expensive, my local tailor will do it for about 6 bucks (CAD). It is basically a sleeve that comes down from the inside of the pants and tucks into your boots.PROS:Fit was goodConstruction was goodCamo is very closeCONS:No tick guardNot all pockets have the re-enforced stitchingI have not wore these in the field yet, when I do I will get a better scene of them. For the price, these are a great pair of combat pants. I would recommend them to anyone.

Sizing
Just got them in the post.tried them on quickly cos I couldn't wait,at work so couldn't parade round in front of a descent mirror.but first inspection....heavy weight..durable looking trousers.have got another pair of 101 pants in mot but got these for the summer.brilliant padded waist area.reinforced stitching where needed.pretty good knee pads too.my only gripe is my other pants have a couple of Velcro waist adjusters either side of the waist band.i bought a large as I am a 36"waist.but without a belt will just fall down.im hoping when I get home and try them with a belt they don't ruck up with too much loose material.but on the whole seem a very good pair of trousers so far.will review them again once I've field tested them.got an all day Sunday coming up in a couple of weeks .should be hot here in England so il let you all know how they fair.
