FAST!
This drive is Fast. It can sustain 380MB/s copying an NTFS folder from one drive to another (the other disk is NVMe).I just installed it, so I'll have to defer commenting on its lifespan. The only thing to watch out for: it comes completely blank: no filesystem or even partition table. You'll need to use the Disk Management control to put on a partition table and then an NTFS filesystem. This is easy enough if you've done it before, but may cause apprehension for newbies. The drive won't even show in Windows File Manager until you do these things, leading to confusion about whether the drive is actually working or not.

Probability of dysfunctionality, high risk investment
I bought two of these drives, and each has failed me almost immediately. The first arrived dead, and caused my PC to hang in the POST for over an hour before loading windows. File explorer would not register it and neither would device manager. It was also missing the front label which was odd and led me to believe I had received a returned and defective item. Great first impression. They made a better impression by sending me a new drive. At first, I was ecstatic as my PC powered on in seconds and it ran great. As i began to install some steam games, i started having disk write issues. I checked TeamGroups S.M.A.R.T. tool, and it indicated that the drive had bad health at 29% already, with 80 power on cycles. What the heck is going on with my drives, and why were they used before they got to me? Im unsure where the break in diligence is, but ive decided QLC SSDs are not the way to go. I do not recommend, buy yourself an NBMe and save yourself the trouble

Solid 4TB- Quiet, Fast Reads, Great for Media Servers & Backup (Best in Drive Pools)
I got the 4TB QLC Drives. They are going to be a purpose built product for people who need the storage space and the READ speed. These puppies are not great for large writes often (The SLC Cache is decent), but when I first got them setup and populated with my data, the write speed started at 400-500MBps, but quickly descended to the 50MBps range, but i knew and expected that. I setup 5 of these drives with Stablebit Drive Pool, and with the way that Drive Pool distributes across the array of drives, it really takes advantage of the SLC cache in a great way so I don't see the Write speed limitation of QLC very often. Best part of it all is that read speed are blazing fast all the time. This means that my server can serve up this data to many video steaming clients at once with very little latency, and backups of my data (using Synology drive backup) is super quick. I don't have to wait for disks to spin up and I don't have to hear the loud Hard Drives anymore. Functionality is great in the proper application and expectations. These are plenty quiet :)Install is a breeze, standard SATA plugs.Been running them since around Christmas of 2024 with ZERO issue.

Worked great for 9 months, ran into an issue, working fine now
Edit: Below is my review for this product, I ran into an issue with the drive and left this review. I was contacted by TEAMGROUP customer support and they mentioned me doing a format of the drive. This seems to have fixed the issue, I will update this review if I run into any more issues, but for now it appears as though my problem has been solved.I used this drive for extra game storage for 9 months, I first noticed some issues with it when I had used up 2.8 of the 3.7 TB of storage available, the drive was slowing down to a crawl, 100% active time but only 1-2 mb/s speed. I knew this drive didn't have DRAM cache, so I figured it might slow down when around 75-80% of the storage was used. So, I removed some games, ran a manual trim, and it worked great, for a few more months at least. Now, no matter how little storage I use on this drive, it will top out around 10-20 mb/s, and that's when it's running fast. If I run any games on it, a few loading screens, or after roughly 10 minutes of gameplay, it will tank all the way to 1 mb/s and will stay there until I run another trim or restart my PC. This drive is basically useless to me now.I haven't had any issues out of any teamgroup products I've owned, until now. I don't know if I just got a bad product or not, either way, for now I can not, and will not, recommend any teamgroup sata SSDs.

Great performance over original disk HDD. works great in my NVR
So far it survived over a year in my camera system. I wanted a quiet solution to my NVR and this was in my budget at the time. Research said non SSDs last longer in NVR so I imagine this is overall a performance item. The speed to access recordings greatly increased and so far no issues yet. Was plug and play to the NVR but I end up letting the drive hang in tbe 3.5 inch compartment of the NVR that doesnt move

You get what you pay for
Brought two of these hard drive a year ago; one in September and one in November. One in November failed a month ago. Overheated and lost everything on the drive. Luckily, I had backed it up a few hours before the failure. Smart status showed the drive healthly and the temperature was well within specifications, before it failed. I went to bed and when I woke up the next day my computer was acting strange. As I kept trying to troubleshoot what was going on and as I was doing that the hard drive got worst. As I was pulling the hard drive out of the computer, the hard drive was extremely warm to the point where you could not touch it. I placed it on my computer desk and let the room temperature cool the drive back down to room temperature. Then I tried to mount it, but it heated up too fast and that was it.I RMA'ed the drive with the company, which was a waste of time and money. I had to send the damaged drive back to the company at my cost. The company updated me that they had received the drive. Then they sent me an email a few days later saying the status is in Processing and in a few weeks I will receive my delivery. In the email, they say they will send the tracking so I can track the drive. I was fine waiting, because that drive was going to be used in another computer and I already got a replacement drive to get my computer back up and running.A week later or so, I get a random post-it note stuck to my mailbox, from USPS, saying They are sorry they missed me. The postmaster did not even fill out the post-it note correctly, so after talking to my local post office they instructed me to come to the post office and pickup the package. After walking back to the car, with the package, I noticed the drive sounded like there was broken pieces inside the drive. When I opened the package the SSD was sealed with broken pieces inside and the second drive was dead.I contacted the company, on the existing RMA ticket, and they acted so surprised that I even got the replacement drive that fast. They made me take pictures and send them the pictures. The First response, I got back, was I need to update my drivers and bios version on my motherboard. I responded with " already tried connecting the drive to my computer and since it is not showing up and sounds like there is broken pieces inside the SSD, that I why I said it is dead. " The last response I got back was a joke, "We highly value your rights, and since this is your second repair request, you do not need to bear the shipping cost. Before shipping the replacement, our engineer will perform a special inspection and verification for you." I will ignore the rest. The money I saved going with this failing hard drive, I could have just saved up the money and go with a better well know brand.

Good laptop and desktop drive.
I purchased five of these. I was using them in an environment they were not designed for because I am an idiot. I had them in a server and was using them for running virtual machines. Like i said, I am an idiot. Three of them failed. The warranty replacement was very easy. Teamgroup seems very easy to work with. I replaced them with Samsung drives and they are working great. With that said. I have handed out the Teamgroup drives to people using them in laptops and desktops, which is what they are designed for, and they have been working really well.

Love these! Was skepical but worth the investment.
I had only purchased Samsung products. I needed to get 4 drives and that was going to cost me around 1200 for the 4 pro samsung 4tb drives. So at $137 each I got 4. I have these in a QNAP 642AI NAS box with 2 different RAID 1 setups. So far so good They are faat, seem reliable. So far I have not see any problems nor cons about the purchase and use of these. I am not sure how these would be for gaming, I am sure they would be good as the speeds are comparable with the industry.I plan to get a few more. And I shared this with a friend and he got 2 of these for the exact same NAS box. I really feel these are a good investment considering I cam from Western Digital spinning gold drives on a normal server. Now I am on a NAS box, I want no noise and good speed and that's what I got.

Product quality is very much questionable.
SSD malfunctioned & partitions cannot be formatted or deleted - all options faded/unavailable in Windows Disk Management. Purchased $338.97 from Amazon AU Order placed 7 April 2026.It requires extensive professional knowledge to satisfy TEAMGROUP's warranty verification.I will not buy any products from TEAMGROUP again. Their quality is very much questionable.

Bin bisher sehr zufrieden. Empfehlung.
