I like it, it smells good, I can scrub my own face, I'm new to it too, I'm on my second jar, but I think you will like it

Pretty good on cleaning oil off face. Just wish they add more for scrubbing

Not a bad product. The only negative I would say is that it doesn't have enough exfoliating beads. Smells great, makes my bald head feel really smooth and silky. Overall, I'm happy with the product. I would buy it again. But if you want more beads, go with Tree Hut products. I use them as well.

I’ve been using the JVR Face Scrub for Men for the past four days. It’s not terrible, but it’s not great either. It cleans fine, but as a scrub, it falls short. The product is advertised as a coffee scrub, but there just aren’t enough ground coffee particles in it to really exfoliate. I was expecting a more noticeable scrub, and this feels pretty mild—almost like a regular face wash with a hint of grit. If you have sensitive skin and want something very gentle, this might work for you. For me, I want a scrub to actually scrub, and this doesn’t quite get there. I’ll finish the container, but I probably wouldn’t buy it again.

I love this face scrub. It smells so lovely and the pieces of coffee as an abrasive ingredient are perfect. I get a lot of ingrown hairs and breakout especially because of ingrown hairs. Using this scrub around my facial hair has been a game changer!

The stuff is amazing and leaves my skin super soft!

Just finished my first container so I’ll share my thoughts from a guy’s perspective. For context I’ve been using the Tiege facial system for a year now (I like it a lot) and I wanted to see if I could find a comparable substitute for their face scrub. Enter JVR’s face scrub. Right off the bat I will say the consistency is that of mud or wet clay, so if you are expecting something like a lotion or serum you’ve been warned. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing it just comes to preference. I do my face wash routine in the shower, not at the sink so it worked fine for me. The only reason I removed one star is because the actual exfoliating mechanism they use is not sufficient. For a product advertised as an exfoliant the material they use is far too sparse and coarse. It would be much better if it were smaller grain and more plentiful because the only way I was able to make it actually exfoliate was to pair it with a silicone face scrubber which I highly recommend. Using it with the face scrubber gave much better results. I’ll go over exactly how I used it, from an in-shower perspective: - with face damp from the shower, pinch about a thumbnail’s worth out of the container and apply it to your forehead and cheeks. Apply it like someone would a clay mask or something. - take the (wet) silicone face scrubber and massage it into your whole face until it starts to feel a bit tingly (usually about 30 seconds). I keep a short beard and I do include the bearded part of my face since it still reaches my skin. If you’re a guy who keeps a longer beard it may not work on the bearded portion of your face and that’s OK because you probably have a whole different routine for that anyway. - once it begins to feel tingly stop massaging and let it rest for another 30 seconds or so to let the caffein portion do its job on your skin. - after that just rinse thoroughly, it will rinse off just like mud would. - after you’re rinsed your pores will be wide open so I would wash your face last right before you get out of the shower. If you use a toner then this is the ideal time to use that while your pores are wide open, so apply your toner after you’ve padded your face dry. - also important to remember this is another reason to keep clean towels (meaning change them out every 2-3 showers at least), because wiping your face dry with soiled towels is a great way to have the opposite effect of keeping your open pores clean. - if you don’t care about a toner and you just use a moisturizer or nothing else at all you’re pretty much done Personally I will not be buying this product again unless they change the exfoliant material, but if you’re not using any exfoliant at all right now this is a good place to start. I think Tiege’s is superior but that’s just me. Whether you’re a young guy just trying to combat acne or an older guy trying to combat lines this will work fine for you until you dial into something better. Don’t forget to invest in a silicone face scrubber they are awesome regardless of your routine. Still gets 4 stars from me. Hope this helped.

Love this scrub. Love the smell , love the way the beads exfoliate my skin. I get ingrown hairs when I shave my beard but since using this it has hardly ever happened. Will keep buying this forever

I tried the JVR Face Scrub for Men as part of my daily skincare routine, and it has worked really well for me. The texture has just the right amount of grit to exfoliate without feeling harsh. It leaves my skin feeling clean, smooth, and refreshed after each use, which is especially nice after a long day or workout. The scent is light and fresh, not overpowering, and it rinses off easily without leaving any residue. I also noticed that it helped reduce some dryness around my nose and forehead by clearing away dead skin cells. After a couple of weeks, my skin tone looked more even, and shaving felt smoother since there were fewer rough patches. What I appreciate most is that it feels gentle enough to use regularly. Some scrubs can be too aggressive, but this one strikes a good balance between cleansing and exfoliating. The tube is also a good size for the price, and a small amount goes a long way, so it should last for quite a while.

Nice smell, smooth cream, however the coffee grinds are big and don't really scrub effectively. If they were ground just a bit finer, then it would be an excellent scrub.

Feels slightly griddy at first but it feels like it's doing what it's suppose to, cleansing deap into the skin.
