Great product
Excellent blower & good suction..... Does hammer battery life a bit but if your a Makita fan you should have plenty of batteries ready for work... Excellent tool very happy with another excellent product from Makita....

Quality blow vac
Wanted to go cordless and already owned Makita batteries and the reviews looked good. Works from the off and great suction and blow power. It’s lightweight and so easy to move about with shoulder strap. Only issue is short battery life (15-20mins) but garden and drive perfect size for this duration.

It's very good
The garden vac by Makita is a good quality item. If you search on cordless garden vacs you will not find many. The only issue is batteries. You will need at least 3 batteries as the motors is very powerful and mulches the leaves prior to depositing them in the bag. This is not a fault with the vacuum just the nature of the beast. Treat yourself to quality Makita make batteries not the cheap knock off's. If you have these the unit will serve you well. My concerns about these types of vac's is the bag which always seems to rot out. Empty clean and dry the bag after each use. The bag is of a good quality but they always seem to develop holes. I contacted Makita UK and they directed me to a site and I purchase and additional bay for £30. I am very happy with the vac and would recommend it to all Amazon buyers...

Easy to use, strong suction. Easily cleaned the whole garden and patio are. good battery life

Battery run flat quite quickly, been using 2 X 5AH batteries. However bought a 230V blower from B & Q a while back it was absolutely rubbish and binned it. Took a chance with the makita and was impressive, very lightweight and powerful

Eats batteries.
Not a particularly powerful blower/vac and you definitely need two batteries, I have two 5Ah batteries and only get about 5-6 mins vac time on each.Otherwise it's light and easy to use,though the bag is small so needs to be emptied regularly.

What can you say about Makita? Always excellent. I bought this blower/vacuum to replace a Ryobi one that died after just one year. I'll stick with Makita in future.
