Great affordable knife.
Impressions on the first day. The knife came in a box with a cleaning cloth and torx wrench/ key to adjust the pivot, change the pocket clip to right or left handed carry and disassembly. Sharp right out of the box, sliced right though some small saplings growing around the house. The blade flips out smartly. Cons, and they are minor, the G10 scales, IMHO, could be a little thinner and the pocket clip a little beefier. Also the “axis lock” is different from my Benchmade 940 but with some pocket time that won’t be an issue. It is not stainless steel so you will need to give it proper care. I’m an Assistant Scoutmaster and I’ve been looking for affordable knives to recommend to Scouts. This is one I will definitely recommend. Especially at the price.

Nice for the price.
Overall the knife is a bit thicker than most I carry. The locking mechanism is interesting, like a vertical axis style lock. I've found it to be a very useful blade shape. The choil is large and it's comfortable in several grips. The flipper works well and the detent is pretty good too. It's also pretty much ambidextrious, I say "pretty much" intentionally...as I had one of the lock studs fly off because I was using the knife left handed. Due to no thread lock...the stud had spun off. Left thumb puts counterclockwise pressure and unscrews it from simply opening and closing the knife. All that said, I'm happy with the purchase overall. The one issue is fixed simply enough, that it's still a good value.

Excellent budget knife. Perfectly centered.
This knife was very sharp right out of the box. I am impressed with the quality of the knife. It came perfectly centered. I was a slightly nervous about this purchase after I made it. All the reviews complained about a broken button lock. I see no such thing. I have been fidgeting with it since it came. The fidget factor with this knife is high. I really enjoy it. This is a great value for your money. The ease of use is amazing.

Honestly almost better then the Spyderco I had
The media could not be loaded. The D2 steel blade is a solid .11mm thick at the top/spine backside of the blade. That thickness doesnt dwindle down at a steep angle to a thin edge as it reaches the bottom either. Most other knives do. The thickness is pretty meaty all the way to the bottom of the blade to the edge itself. This is one accolade it has over most spyderco knives that thin out quicker and at a steeper angle toward the edge. Because this one is thick to the edge its more rigid, durable and sturdy imo. Furthermore having a thicker blade makes it easier to flick open one handed, instead of using the stub, by flicking the knife in a downward motion after unclipping it from your belt clip. Thats the next point i have. The clip comes positioned in a way so when its clipped to your belt and you pull it up, off and out its upside down in your hand AND the blade opening is pointed toward your hand. This would normally be a preventative measure so you cant flick the knife downward to open it quickly! Sooo in order to remedy this i took the clip off and put it on the other side. Now the insert opposite the clip can just stay removed when you swap the screws and clip over to the other side. Long story short by doing that we can reach for the knife on our belt clip and immediately be ready to flip it down and out with a flick of the wrist; by the new changed clip positioning. Ill add a video. So why isnt it as good as the Spydercos ive owned. Well first off, out the box, the spydercos are EXTREMELY SHARP. These are not. In fact I knew the D2 steel was hard to sharpen reading about it beforehand cause Ive never tried sharpening D2 before. Im horrible with wetstones so I got the as seen on tv bavarian sharpener and its supposed to be rated the best n easiest sharpener to use. Well I was still having an issue getting it perfectly honed because D2 is very hard to work with. Anyway after about 10 minutes its seriously sharp now. But it should have been straight out of the box. The 2nd reason it doesnt quite match up to a higher end blade like spyderco is because of the prescision with which these spyderco knives are made with is unreal. They use military grade specs for extreme precision. Now these WiN+ are made very, very solid but there not military grade! This blade is ball bearing, with thick long screws that give meaty grip, bonding the structure and giving it a really strong feeling of solidness and integrity when you hold it in your hand. This could be too heavy for some compared to a spyderco of the same size but I actually LiKe the feel of the extra bulk. Makes the knife go into whatever your cutting easier imo. Still light, versatile and compact enough for a real aLpHa EDC BLADE. Apples to apples for 20$ D2 WiN+ blade vs a D2 steel high end blade, not quite military grade, of the same caliber your looking at spending upwards of 60$. This knife is an absolute steel< --steal :) If my review helped you please consider throwing me a like as I love helping people and it gives me fufillment to know Im helping people make smart, educated purchases based on authentic reviews!

Worst knife I’ve ever owned
The one good thing about this knife is the blade’s sharpness…. Otherwise it’s an embarrassment. The knife is falsely advertised as a button lock, and in actuality it’s a horizontal axis lock that doesn’t work. This lock is extremely unsafe and often times doesn’t lock at all. When the blade does “lock” it still moves about. I’m so disappointed in the lack safety and functionality that I will never recommend this brand to anyone.Returning this item immediately

Fancy back lock.
Description is deceiving. Advertised as a button lock or access lock is incorrect. It is a fancy back lock so the action is unique. It runs on bearings and is flipper deployed. It opens smoothly. Mine required a bit of pivot adjustment to eliminate blade play. Overall an inexpensive and innovative little pocket knife. Comes sharp out of the box. For around $20 you can't go wrong.
