Model MO40B00 is ideal for our existing customers who already own a battery and charger in that line and want to expand their tool collection without the added cost of a battery and charger. It uses only 1 battery at a time. Additional batteries will add to runtime.

I can't speak with 100% certainty, but I was told that as long as one used a 40V battery one would be fine.
