Bambi / Bambi 2 [Blu-ray] [1993] [Region Free]

Great product

I aimed for the the past few years to get every Disney dvd I can get. Had most on vcr as a child. I have majority of them now and this helped build my collection even more. Never heard of Bambi 2, but cannot wait till I get round to watching it. The delivery was fast and the price was cheaper than shops. Will be using Amazon again for more disney dvds.

Great quality although not sure of the reason you want to buy in Blu-Ray. Might as well in DVD as remastered but still the format is 4:3 (so not wide screen) and hence not 1080p. So keep this in mind when ordering. Otherwise the print was great and my wife is a big fan of this so was a gift for her and she loved it. Picture and voice quality is great.

This was bought as a present for my niece's child she wants to have a collection of Disney DVD's for her to watch when she grows up. Bambi was our favourite when we were young so to have 1 and 2 in same box is very good.

I purchased Bambi/Bambi 2 Double Pack for my grandchildren's recent visit. Their ages range from 2 to 7 and they loved it. I felt the action was a little slow at times, but they didn't get bored at all and when one dvd finished, they wanted to watch the second one. The Blu-ray pictures were so crystal clear - a good buy!

Another classic film(both) maybe one day disney will add bambi 2 to bambi where the break is and make it all in one film, that would make it one of the best classic films out.

This movie is still soo good as i remember it from when I was little. I really enjoyed it and yes it brought a tear to my eyes. A must see for family and friends for all ages.

I am pretty sure that anyone who is reading this knows what this Disney classic is, so I will skip movie review and get to the format. There are a lot of reviews here saying it doesn't work. DVD has a warning that it is Region 2 and would not play in US / Canada. So I went straight for BluRay version. BluRay is region free, which means it would play anywhere in the world. Recordings are of the superb quality for the big screen. Everything you need out of the movie disc.

I’m a huge fan of classic Disney, and haven’t seen Bambi since I was a kid. Such a sweet, innocent, simple story about Bambi growing up in the forest. They just don’t make movies like this anymore. There’s something about the old stuff that has a wonderful charm that you can’t help but appreciate. Since this film was made during WWII, it seemed like a good choice to be released in the midst of hard times. And I didn’t even know they made a sequel! I enjoyed it just as much as the original, and loved how the Great Prince steps up to take care of him. (Go Patrick Stewart! Great choice for the voice.) A lot of other reviews say that the DVDs don’t work, so I was a bit leary of buying it, but I did and haven’t had any technical problems at all. :) I bought blu-ray (cause blu-ray is awesome) and played the films on a gaming console that plays DVDs. Maybe that had something to do with it? Anyway, super happy with this product and now have another classic to add to my collection.

One of my favourites films. Arrived safely & quickly.

Wanted to pick up this classic for my child after reading an abridged book too many times and always answering the same questions. Saw a lot of reviews that the disks didn’t work in NA players, but the blu-ray disk we received was universal (ie plays in all regions), just as the images and product description indicate. So happy with it! 2 disk set was a great value.
