The Upintek transmitter arrived well packaged in a small box with all the cables needed to get going. It also came with 5 step instructions giving an idea how easy this thing is to use. The Bluetooth Transmitter is perfect for me and serves three purposes in my home.First purpose was to connect a Bluetooth speaker to my gaming rig. It doesn't have Bluetooth internally and I don't have a Bluetooth dongle. I don't use the PC enough to justify buying one solely for that purpose. With the Bluetooth TX I can just plug the USB dongle into the back of the PC (with the included mini extension cable) to power the transmitter. I could have also plugged it into a main supply but then I would need longer cables as the wall sockets are not close to the desk. Once powered up I connected the transmitter to my PC via the 3.5mm audio cable that came included. This now allows me to use all-sorts of Wireless headsets and Speakers with my PC.The second purpose was to improve the sound quality on my Sony LCD TV. Normally the sound comes from my main TV Speakers and it sounds awful. My TV has a USB socket on the side so I used that to power the device (Didn't need the mini USB extension) and connected it up via the audio jack like with my PC. You can also connect to the TV via RCA with the Red and White audio connectors.The third and final purpose was to use it with some electronic projects my daughter does with the Raspberry Pi and UDOO board computers. It allows her to build projects and share audio with ease and without taking up one of the much needed USB ports on her micro board computers,So that's three uses for it already and I can switch between them at any time. I'm sure I'll find more use for it as time goes on. Only downside was when the audio had finished and it goes silent you can here some interference and static sounds when past half volume. But this is probably more to do with the amount of electronics and signals running around my home than the actual transmitter.

I purchased this for use with Bluetooth headphones. It was very east to install. Simply plugs into the back of the tv.It works very well. Extremely pleased with my purchase. Highly recommended.

As I am hard of hearing, I had hoped that this transmitter would give me a wire-free link from the TV to my bluetooth speakers positioned next to my left ear. I managed (just) to work out the pairing, but then found that it was lost as soon as I turned the TV off. That meant that I had to go through the whole uncertain process each time that I turned it on. This was quite unsatisfactory, as I wouldn't want the TV on all the time!So it is just not fit for the purpose I wanted it for, and I shall have to make do with my original wired link.

The product arrived on time and the Bluetooth bit works as described but the cable that came with it was already broken on one end and therefore useless. Luckily I already had one spare from somewhere else which makes the product usable.Please note it has no internal battery and won't work without being plugged in.Otherwise good product, clean finish, works well, nice connection tone to

Quite disappointed - I bought it to use with the TV and the sound is completely not in sync with the video by 1 second so that is really annoying. Not recommended

Does what expected to do, but the paring is not easy.

Its okay, it might be me but can sometimes be a bit intermittent, I will have to see if moving the transmitter closer helps.
