Living With A Wrangler JK: What To Expect When Living The Jeep Life

I chose this book after I had already bought a Wrangler (JK) because I thought it looked interesting and it has decent ratings. After reading it I was thoroughly impressed! Not only does it cover the pre-buying process but with it a slew of helpful information once you own the vehicle. He goes through the pros and cons of owning a jeep, which may seem a little biased on the pro side, but as a jeep owner myself I assure you that he's not only correct, but accurate! The tips for door and hard/soft top removal are fantastic, and the description of sway bar disconnect among other things really help out anybody new, or considering the jeep life. Overall, a solid book, a quick read, and worth the buy! I highly recommend!

A short read, but great for the first-time Wrangler owner. Several little tidbitsof things particular to the breed. I could have added several more that I have found with my new Jeep, and was disappointed they weren't mentioned. Still, a nice compliment to the new Wrangler experience.

Very quick and easy to read, and gives a good overview of what to expect from a Jeep Wrangler in terms of structure, usage, comfort, etc. Not super detailed, but enough to let a reader know in maybe 3/4 hour whether he/she should research further or forget the idea of a Wrangler (both are definitely possible!).

I choose to rate 5 stars because this book covers alot of information about this Jeep. If you are thinking about purchasing a Jeep, read this first.I enjoyed reading about the sand dunes experience. I would have enjoyed reading more personal experiences, but maybe thats because Im a female. The technical and mechanical chapters are good, but a personal experience rates high!I recommend the book to Jeep owners and futurer owners. Enjoy!

A quick, enjoyable, yet simple overview on Jeep Wrangler ownership. Mr Edwards gives an honest review of what one can expect, drawbacks included! Although, there really AREN'T any, are there..? You'll appreciate how he shares personal experience as well as pertinent information, without weighing you down with too much technical jargon. Definitely a good launching pad for your Wrangler research.

I purchased this book thinking it would explain the mechanics, suspension etc. aspects of the Wrangler but it did not. If you are unfamiliar with the Wrangler or know absolutely nothing about it, I would then recommend it.

Just a light read with basic information, but if you've never owned a Jeep Wrangler it gives a good overview of what to expect, the possible pitfalls and the fun. Highly recommended.

Not much information in here although the HUGE font does make it easier to read for the vision impaired. Seriously, the topics discussed are covered so superficially that this book isn't worth paying for unless perhaps you've never heard of Jeeps before.

A very interesting and informative read for any first time Jeeper like myself! I especially liked the candidness when explaining the quirks of a Jeep.

Really enjoyed this book. Although I didn’t think I would pick up much - I did. I would recommend this to anyone with a passing interest in this interesting vehicle.
