Work well. Easy to connect. Exactly what I needed.

Have a rather large Ubiquiti stepup already, I thought I'd expand into the doorbell. This meant looking at getting a chime as I currently don't have one. This this is almost useless...it's so quiet! I've even tried a few of the 'hacks' which people online have suggested, such as closing your own doorbell sound file, with it boosted...none really work. For a Chime, I'd say it's barely louder than having a mobile phone on full volume sat in your room. The likelihood of you hearing it in another room, is slim. Such a shame as most Unifi stuff is well made and wipes the floor with other competitors

I really like Unifi products and have an entire ecosystem controlling my home... the router, switch, wifi AP's and cameras. I really like what they're trying to do. I recently purchased a G4 Doorbell Pro which I have been coveting for some time, this is replacing the Google Doorbell I purchased when Unifi was out of stock. The doorbell chimes have around 5 sound options and the volume is pretty good and you can choose to replay the chimes up to three times so you have a good chance to hear it. My only gripe is that if you set a notification for your phone on the doorbell camera when it sees a face or gets a movement alert, these things go off with it! It felt like I was being attacked by the doorbell!! (I live in a busy area). I have had to turn this notification off so only doorbell pushes are recognised which I feel is a shame, but the device itself does exactly what it needs to.

I needed to buy an adapter (I knew I needed one). With the adapter it sticks out a long way so not ideal. They should sell a UK version (although it would still stick out!).

Great power supply

Much too quiet! Really, even with the volume set to 100% we just dont hear it even from the next room. You would need one in every room of the house to reliably hear it.

Ein Chime, mit dem man das "Türklingeln" auf weitere Stockwerke bringen kann. Einzig die Auswahl der Klingeltöne ist begrenzt und kann nicht durch eigene (wie bspw. bei der Doorbell) ersetzt werden, aber das ist Meckern auf hohem Niveau und liegt nicht am Produkt. Daher: Top!

Voordien was het enkel mogelijk om één geluid te generen met deze Chime, maar met nieuwere firmware is dat intussen wel mogelijk. Tevreden ermee!

Standaard Chime. Verliest redelijk vaak verbinding, zelfs bij een sterk signaal. En duur. Maar ja: da’s UniFi…

Just plug it in, adopt it in the UniFi ecosystem and your ready to go. It automatically understands that it needs to alert us when someone is pressing our G4 doorbell. The sound is really loud. But if you have thick walls and a large house, you would probably need two of these. I haven’t found a way to change the chime sound but to be fair, I like the sound it makes so I don’t really care.
