Basic coffee pot capable of making a large, hot pot of black goodness that helps me 'get through this thing called life'. I am going all the way (5 star) for this basic drip maker. Obviously you can spend $400 and get a superior machine but in the basic coffee pot category? This one is great. Our last machine was so bad we celebrated when it died. Our last pot went through paper towels and cuss words like they were in competition with each other. Trying to pour from the carafe was a bloody nightmare with coffee dribbling off the pot mid pour. I hated that friggn thing. So did my hubs. This pot is so easy to pour from. It makes NO MESS. This one is easy to pour water into the back. There is no missing the pour area unless maybe you are drunk. (Note: Resulting cup of coffee may vary if/when there is alcohol involved.) It has a standard reusable basket for grounds right in the front that is super easy to clean, etc The auto shut-off works TOO GOOD for all day drinkers. I appreciate the safety feature regardless. It does it's job. I just have to keep turning it on. That is a personal preference that has more to do with my addiction than it does the integrity of the coffee pot. It has a timer so you can have that baby cooking up your first morning pot while you are still drooling on your pillow. Anyways, Good pot, good coffee. I really hope his one lasts longer than the last one. If it doesn't, I will probably look for an upgraded pot with the same carafe. Good luck!

arrived on time & packet very well. This was a replacement for an old Black & Decker, so i went with the newer basic model since it lasted so long. This is the classic coffee maker style thats been around for ever. PROS: makes HOT coffee, the donut shape hot water dispenser does very well, no paper filters have fallen over with this design, still has the timer, and the best new feature is the STRONG setting thats for making 1 to 2 cups at a time, plus it save coffee too, also when 30+/- brews happen it tells u its time for cleaning & has a built in cleaning mode. CONS: the lighted buttons glow are very dim & are especially hard to see in a bright room, the carafe or pot lid that one usually uses the thumb to push down to open the lid, your thumb has to go down into the side handle a little & its unconformable tight area especially with big thumbs. All in all its a great basic automatic drip coffee maker and i hope this one last as long as its predecessor B&D model. Would buy again.

Working great better than the one I bought a week earlier

Quality is good, brew time is quick, pouring is easy without spilling and the amount of water in the carafe actually matches the amount once its poured. That may sound strange but previous models we have used that wasn't the case! The carafe would measure 6 but when you pour it in, it only reaches 4 in the unit. Love the brew later option, so a pot of coffee is ready just as we get up, and it tastes fresh every pot. It does have a pause in the drip if you want to pour a quick cup before its completely done. No complaints.

I love this coffee maker! You can set it up in advance to brew later, or simply set it up and press the button when you wake up. The best feature is the optional "strong" button to make it brew slower and richer. It makes the best coffee☕️😋 at the right temperature!🌡

This coffee maker is certainly nice and easy to operate, however I purchased an open box so received no instructions so that's not helpful. I selected this model for the operating watts described to run off lithium camper battery when boondocking as specified at 800 watts. The unit actually drew almost 1000 watts so it isn't a good fit for our specific need. Price was good so we'll store it for use with full hookup when available.

I've spent decades spending absurd amounts of money trying to find the perfect coffee maker. After spending nearly a month in a rental house that only had an inexpensive coffee maker - and LOVING the coffee I'd get from it - I finally shopped around for something like it. I landed on this particular model and couldn't be happier. I feel silly for having invested so much over the years on coffee makers that didn't last nearly as long as they should have (for those prices). If this one breaks down after a year, who cares? I'll get another! At this price, I can afford to buy a new one more often. (Have been using it for a couple of months now. Perfect coffee every time. Super easy to operate, program, and clean.) ***UPDATE JUNE 2025: Still going strong! Not a single thing has changed. Carafe and basket cleaned in dishwasher daily without issues. All features working perfectly. Still very happy with my decision to go low-tech and basic.

I'm happy with the functionality of this machine. It brews my usual 8+ "cups" of coffee in 11 minutes and keeps it at a good temperature for the stated 2 hours. Capacity is 12 5oz. "cups", which is consistent with other coffee makers. It pours without dripping and the interrupt function works well. While the clock is easy to set and very visible the on/off light is difficult to see unless viewed straight-on from a high angle, as may be evident from the three photos I'm attaching. This makes it easy to leave the heat on after the pot is empty. Improving the light is the one and only change I'd ask for.

Its a great coffe maker. Simple, easy to clean. A nice big opening for the water to go in, and it looks really nice.

Great coffee maker! I accidentally broke the carafe on my first one, but since the machine worked so well, I didn't even look for other models and just bought the same one again. Very satisfied with its performance.
