My daughter is a huge Harry Potter fan so I gave her this light as one of her birthday gifts. She loves changing the color with the remote. She has displayed it on the book shelf in her room. The castle is laser-engraved in acrylic. The image is very sharp and clear. It looks just like Hogwarts. I highly recommend.

The artwork is very well done, and when turned on looks great! The remote provides several different modes so you can set it to a single color, fade between colors, and more depending on your preferences. While I prefer the mode that fades between different colors, all the different colors from the LEDs look great, and this also gives you flexibility to use just one color depending on preferences and to match other surrounding decor.Also, unlike some older lights of a similar style, this has the option to either use batteries or MicroUSB (a cable is included but you'll need your own USB charger port to plug it into). Since this is a low power device, if you have any older chargers from phones you don't have anymore that aren't powerful enough to charge a modern phones, this is a great way to make use of those, since the nightlight does not include the wall adapter - but does not need near as much power as a phone so older adapters should work great. (And this is much cheaper than using batteries over time.)

It's so pretty. Rather small. But very pretty.

I got this to add to my magical collection and it fits in great. It's super easy to put together and the remote works great. There are a ton of settings, so you can make it work in whatever setting you have. Currently mine helps to light up one of the shelves that holds some of my other collectibles. The imagery in the plastic is etched well and looks great with the lighting. It's worked great so far and I love having it in the collection. It would make a great gift for others who love the magical world.

This light is really cool. It has the option to plug in or run on batteries. It doesn't come with a USB adapter so that is something to consider. It comes with a remote. I really like the cycle feature. The only color I didn't care for was red because it hindered the design a bit.
