Great deal, used to trim trees, kept me inside basket 45’ up. Well worth safety aspect, would cost more to rent one….

This TT TRSMIMA Safety Harness and Fall Protection Kit is very well made, practical to use, and an absolute necessity for climbing a tree with a chainsaw. The quality for the price is amazing and I can't imagine why anyone would buy the comparable harnesses that are twice as much or more. This one will fit an average sized man. If you are a very tall or heavier than average person, you may want to continue shopping elsewhere.

It looks like it will work. It was easy enough to adjust and fit well once adjusted. Fortunately I can't say whether it would save my goofy butt if I fell out of the lift bucket as that didn't happen, but I felt a lot safer.

This has been a great buy. Climbing up my palm tree to clean has been a relief, it’s getting taller. Quality is awesome. I can climb up a skyscraper and still feel confident!

TLDR - Cheap, DIY harness, crap instructions, but feels well made so it could be, probably? I would never use this on a job site. Even in the Midwest where most primary contractors and their subs treat safety like it’s a lightly regarded joke. The harness is really cheap and looks it but it feels like a relatively well made harness. This is my emergency, need at home in a pinch, harness. I think it’ll work. It comes with a 12’ or 21’ lanyard. I can’t tell from the poorly written, crap directions. It’s hard to believe this is ANSI rated based on how broken the English is in the “literature” provided.

I was looking for a smaller harness because I weigh 143 pounds. This looks like it would support over 300 pounds. I kept it because it's pretty easy to get on and the connections go together fast.

The harness itself is very decent for the money and I’m using it with guarded confidence. The fall lanyard is a joke. It’s slightly better than a Halloween costume prop. They loop the rope and sew it together with garment thread then heat shrink tape it to hide it. Be prepared to throw that part away. I’m baffled why it has such a high star review.

I can say for someone who is 6' 1" tall, 190 pounds, this harness fit me perfectly. The quality is there, and was comfortable to wear all day and has no mobility restrictions. Also, wearing it all day, after a while, you don't even realize that you are wearing it due to its weight. Installation is easy, once you have it adjusted, putting it on is quick. I was able to reach behind over my head and reach the attachment point myself, connecting and re. moving the harness. I was using it when working in a boom lift basket, cutting down an 80 foot tree in a 60 foot lift. What I like about the lanyard is having 2 hooks. One was always connected to the basket attachment point. The second was connected to my chainsaw.

Have been climbing our 2-storey roof for more than 25 years. It is time to get some safety gear. Normally may only climb up 2-3 times a year, inspecting (or doing minor repair when necessary) shingles/skylight. Already had a roof anchor professionally installed a couple of years ago. Have not actually put it on yet, but the hardware is very heavy duty and the straps are of good quality. Other than Fall Protection, it may give me a bit more confidence to get closer to the edges (ONLY when necessary). For this price, it is a great buy.

I am not at all good with heights and needed to repair some exposed decking two floors up. Probably a little extreme for anyone who is ok working on ladders but for the price I invested in this. Took a while to step into it, getting it all secured off and sort out a way to secure the retention rope. Once you have it on firmly and connect the substantial clip to a structure it does give you that extra security and peace of mind. Stating the obvious but remember the security clip has to be in a location that can take your weight if you do fall, and also at a length to stop you. Plenty of instructions with it - very well made and even though it won’t get used a lot makes a lot of sense.
