In the last two images, I recorded the base temperature 5 minutes after first plugging it in, which was 32°C. Then, I thought it wouldn't have made sense to take recordings of the tempture during the first test, so I ran two full tests with 9 runs per each SEQ (SEQUNTIAL) and RND (RANDOM) read/write of the 16 GB as a drive burner, each test taking about 10 minutes. During the second test, I recorded the temperature at 51°C which was its peak but hovering more around 50°C. However, in just a matter of one to two minutes its already cool due to its Zinc alloy outer coating. If your worried about the dual USB A and C ends not having the same speeds, have no worries! I ran both ends into the back end of my B450-F Gaming Motherboard which has USB A and C 10Gbps ports. The speeds have about 1% deviation in speeds if none at all since these tests aren't perfect, meaning the storage chips are slower than the interface so for complexity reasons in this review I've chosen to keep it simple. For anyone in search of a reliable pocket-sized device that offers both high speeds and large storage capacity, this is definitely the one to consider. Its performance is unmatched, providing fast data transfers and handling demanding tasks with ease. Whether you're backing up large files, running high-capacity tests, or need quick access to your data on the go, this device delivers consistently. Very nice and fast. Plenty of room for what I need it for, transfer between desktop and laptop. Simple to use both ends. Transferred 1.2 Gb in seconds, 40.5 Gb from another external slower hard drive in about 4 minutes. Fast enough for my use. Plus the case is a nice touch. Built solid.

I love this thing. Fast and agile. Works in both A and C slots. Transfer speeds seen to be as advertised. I'm not fond of the C cover and feel like I may weekend the plug opening and closing it. Otherwise, very good and useful.

I just bought two USB gen 2 sticks from different vendors. This one claimed to be reading at speeds of 550 MB/sec, and I was leery. So many items never live up to their own hype. Well I have a slick tool now to measure such things, and this **delivered**. I am using EaseUS DiskMark which is part of their Partition Master Professional app. Sure enough it slightly *exceeded!!!* 550 MB on Sequential Read. For those newer to drive speeds in general, Sequential Read is the fastest (and so the metric companies claim), followed by slowing Random Read, Sequential write, and Random write (writing is just slower). Poor quality sticks often have a decent Read speed, that they use to market it, but terrible write speeds. This stick delivered! Its worst stat, random write, had only dropped to around 400 MB/sec which is an outstanding number and lack of the usual degradation in speed. Top marks. But the stick itself is a joy, almost space age. This stick has the feel you could whack it with a hammer all day. Ive had metal thumb drives before but the aluminum never felt sturdy. whatever alloy this is is tough as nails! In the photo, the little flip-back bar protecting the USB-C port looks pretty tiny - I assure you its no joke and *absolutely* will protect the port. Same goes for the other end and the USB-A connector cap - blast proof! The pouch for a keychain it comes with is also of high quality with a focus on durability, both in the leather-ish material, and especially the ring itself - its not going anywhere. I would have written this review just for my happiness with its speed, but the physical durability really puts it into a different category. At this price point there is just no reason to buy a cheap plastic thumb drive, and one where youre unsure of how badly it will degrade (if it even meets) its listed speed. This delivers on all fronts and is so robust it will last a lifetime. Slap it on that key chain, it can handle the abuse. drop it on the floor, stomp on it, no effect (im not joking). Absolute GEM of high quality mixed with durability and speed. This brand is now up there with Kingston and Samsung in my book (which is a long list of buying cheap disappointments)

Would have happily given 10 stars, amazing product. I had been looking for a convenient way to transfer phone data and this is exactly what i was looking for. Connects directly to mobile and very fast data transfer.
