Excellent camera at an excellent price. The perfect basic workhorse camera for a security system. The feature I appreciate most is the built in switch with the camera that allows you to switch the video output format from the camera to the format you want, versus relying on your DVR to be able to access the camera menu and be able and change the camera's video output format. It is hard enough using a DVR to just change the camera ID number, particularly when you already have multiple cameras attached (as new cameras have a default ID of 1, so you basically have to disconnect your existing CAM 1 to even access the camera menu). The dream camera would have both a switch for CAM ID number (i.e. CAM 1, CAM 2, CAM 3 etc...) and a switch for Video Output Mode (i.e. AHD, TVI, CVI etc...). This camera is halfway there. Other cameras I have purchased have neither of these features.

Pros:It is functional, for sure. I have been using this to check how my dog has behaved while I am out of the house, hence the dog is in training.It has recorded every moment without fail, and it is compatible with my Amcrest 8CH DVR, which supports 1080p resolutions.It is good for low resolution DVRs.It has all the features that are promised.Cons:Not all the features are fully functional, hence the night mode seemed to misbehave and not record properly.Although it supports 1080p, I have been able to record a resolution similar to 720p.I have a feeling these results may have something to do with my DVR.Overall view:Be wary of the position in which you install the camera, since lighting is very important. Sure, we have settings, but this is not an extravagant item.You pretty much get an item worth its price. I will not complain about the quality recording for such a cheap item.However, I took out one star due to slightly misbehaving functions.To me, it is an average camera, not bad.

We bought quite a few of these for various jobs. Found it to be very good quality and a guy buy for what it is. We use the 3.6mm 2MP version. This is a good, all purpose bullet camera for general use. They perform better than others we have tried with the same specs. Will definitely get more. Just used our last 2 today for outside cameras. My only gripe is the shade is not adjustable enough. It would be nice if you could adjust it a little more so you can provide more shading in sunny locations. I can live with that because it is hard to find cameras of this quality we can make money on. Perform every bit as well as some cameras we paid $40 for.

I own a security camera installation business I've purchased probably around 200 of these things and it was the biggest mistake I could have made for my business. I am constantly going out to different locations and replacing any of the cameras that were put outside they 10 to change technology all on their own, go out completely, or stay black-and-white. These cameras are not for use outside most of the ones that I have installed outside have failed . Also the ones that are still working are giving me a completely different kind of problem it seems that the in for reds that day put in these cameras do not last long I have a bunch of them that the in for reds do not work anymore. So that makes the picture almost completely black at night time period

First off, this camera is very simple to install. The included directions are skimpy, but it was easy to figure out. The quality was okay for a $20 camera. The picture was also better then I thought it would be for a less expensive camera. My biggest issue with it is that it has to be plugged into a DVD. My DVD is in the living room. The camera would be located outside. This causes an issue with cords being too short and just having a cord running around my house. In this day and age, everything should be wireless and cellphone compatible. So I think for an actual house, this is not the best camera. But for a business who has a dedicated DVD and cord space it would probably be fine.

Love this camera, has a great picture very clear. I took a chance not knowing what it was going to look like on my system, but I was floored when I saw the clear clear picture on my mobile app and system in my home screen. I'm going to buy more to replace some older model cameras I have. I'm running the camera on a night owl and it's compatible. Love the on screen menu I get on my app when pressing the button on the camera cord to adjust brightness, color and other functions. Awesome buy.

I am very disappointed. I have Zosi and Annke cameras that work much better and sharper. Always blurry. Moved to 3 different locations and lines into the DVR. Same issues. Now after several hours the brightness bar pops up. I go out and tried the switch. To go. Unplug power for a while plug back in, no brightness bar. Ready to order another Annke.

I bought the camera to replace an old one at the entrance of our company office. I wasn't sure at the beginning if it would work with the DVR that we had but I am happy that it worked really nicely. It is a professionally made camera with clear motion picture and good night vision. Would highly recommend it!

I bought these to add to my 16 channel analog 1080P Defender Security DVR. They work great. These were the only ones that I could find that did work.

I bought this camera 2 days ago and had to return it because the adjusting screw was so tight that it damaged the bolt and the hex key, the second one was delivered today and the only way I managed to undo the hex bolt I had to use a very good quality socket set with hex bit in it. Hoping to install the camera tomorrow and cross finger we have a good picture quality.
