There are many different rock tumblers out there, but none with all the features I would like for my own tumbler. Having said all this my son loves it and it's taught him patience that you sometimes have to wait for good results.
My rock mad 9 year old LOVES this as it was a Christmas gift. It is pricey but it's very durable. Slight warnings - the sieve enclosed is very flimsy and small and ripped the first time we used it. It's very noisy too so if you have a small house I would avoid buying it. It also has to be left on running permanently for nearly a month for final results. Bizarrely the instructions say that at some stages it needs to run for between 5-7 days yet the dial on the tumbler only goes up to 5 days! Having said all this my son loves it and it's taught him patience that you sometimes have to wait for good results . . . or good polished rocks!

Poor Quality Drive Belt
The main problem with this is the poor quality of the "O"- ring drive belt. The first one failed after 1 week of use. The second one failed after 3 days. There is no information on how to get replacements. There's no information on the size of belt required, or the material it's made of. I've ordered a DIY "O"-ring kit to make my own, but I would not recommend this unless they improve the spares list.
